i didn’t see it at first but oihina…. the hold you have over me…. this fic by xixuwus on ao3 has me in shambles. i loved the different take on soulmates—maybe some people fit and some just don’t, but feelings are feelings and you might find yourself drawn to people who don’t feel a 100% right. also the characterisation of oikawa omgg he DEFO is the kind of lover that is like a vacuum who just wants everything and really EVERYTHING and any hint that denies him THAT would make him this sort of petty, unsure creature that just wants to either pull everything in or dodge it and i’m glad he embraces that in the end.

AND DON’T GET ME STARTED ON HINATA. the hinata that really thinks it’s alright to try, yet giving oikawa that space and freedom to decide even thought it’s never really been within oikawa’s control—his thoughts, feelings, natural gravitation like he’s in orbit around the sun (LOVE LOVE LOVE the sun metaphors, light, cosmos, love it allll). i love how hinata’s so contemplative in this fic too. the constant “what are we”’s make so much sense—never forceful, always compelling. anyway i will reread this AHHHH
