From the Start - Ironically, this being the first song in the playlist is a coincidence- the song describes the start and constant back and forth between idia and Daphne at the start of their friendship. It was very obvious to their friends that they had feelings for eachother (feels that were wayyyy too strong mind you-).

I Won't Say I'm in Love- both Daphne and Idia deny having feelings for each other because they think the other doesn't like them back, but "no man is worth the aggravation. Thats ancient history been there done that" and "I thought my heart had learned it's lesson, it feels so good when you start out. My head is screaming get a grip girl. Unless your dying to cry your heart out" fit Daphne's most brutal romantic rejection whrn she was a tween, as well as her not having good luck when it comes to romance (she's been rejected every time.)

The way things go - there isn't a super super strong reason for this to be here, except for the line "Didn't think you'd ever stoop so low, getting with the only girl you know". Ig it can kinda relate to book 6....

Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!-this one is here for a more strange reason- I wanna do a silly animatic to this with some friends ocs (yk who you are hopefully) but it still fits in with Daphne being a hopeless romantic sooo

I know it's pretty stupid but I'm much to shy to tell her" Idia also struggled with seeing just how much Daphne cared for him at the beginning. He knows she's a nice person and thought she was only caring for him because that's what she does for others, he just didn't notice Daphne was doing it all because she had a big crush on him and cares for him deeply.

Sports- both (again). Not only are both of them incredibly NOT athletic, but "if you shatter, I won't let you fall apart" and "I'd you feel lonely, I could be lonely with you." Can be taken a bit more literally??? Ig is the word for it????? They're eachothers #1 supports, whe the other is feeling down, sometimes words don't even need to be said and they're instantly feeling better, just having the other there.

P.U.N.K. Girl- idia -> Daphne, the entire song is them coated give it a listen, it's great!! >:D

Lovesick- I don't know how to describe this one in words bec the song is just too magical ig- it can be tied to idia and Daphne missing eachother when Daphne goes back to her home world, but she doesn't do that so- The two are just feel a whole mix of feelings when the other isn't there.

Stupid with Love- this one works a bitttt more for Daphne, but it's applicable to idia too. Just the title alone is self explanatory, but the comedic lines sprinkled in it are super funny and very much idia and Daphne-

U&I-both ways!!! Again- but a bit more leaning towards Daphne-> idia. Again, the context of the song is romantic for these two- the last line "Oh my feelings, please get through!" Very much describe Daphne's difficultly expressing herself through normal means.

Fuwa Fuwa Time- similarly to U&I, this son is just super wholesome and fits them pretyy well. "Oh, God, please give some Dream Time for just the two of us!" Is just such a Idiane coated line and the song is just adorable (I can also see kalim begging the PMC to perform the songs cuz he finds them fun)

Tell Me- it's fun, it's silly, it's wholesome. Sorry I can't explain some of these songs well eeueuueue

La Llorona- IDIA-> DAPHNE ALL THE WAY. I would translate it rn but I am very tiredd... In idiane's context, the song is the feeling of the comfort idia gives to Daphne and how it pains him to see her so upset.

Coin Operated Boy - idia-> daphne. This mainly covers an au I've been thinking about for many months now, one where daphne suffered a far worse injury at STYX, and idia rebuilds yet another person, but Daphne was so much more complicated to rebuild since she's way older than Ortho at the time of his passing, so she has more experiences, not to mention her confusing personality. Idia will never be able to perfectly recreate Daphne.

Less than Three- this is just mdr as a song- if the event had a theme song this would be it.

Thank You for the Venom- Book 6 idiane summarized in a way. Heavily Daphne -> Idia. "You're looking out for something that you'll never kill, if this is what you want then fire at will." Daphne knows the guilt of losing Ortho is eating Idia in the inside. Idia and Daphne had a big fight during Book 6 because of the massive secret idia was hiding from Daphne (styx and his family lineage). She thought he could trust her enough and know that she wouldn't say a word to anyone about the organization, but idia proved her wrong. Despite that, Daphne obviously still loves Idia, and feels that she was the one who overreacted, and she's incredibly guilty for that. "So fire at will" is taken literally, as in an effort to snap idia our of his overblot Daphne tries talking to him, only for him to shoot her in the shoulder. "You'll never make me leave, I'll wear this on my sleeve, give me a reason to believe." After he overblottted Idia was struck with immense guilt, having injured his love, almost killing her by accident. Even so, Daphne didn't leave, she wanted to stay with Idia. She's never felt so alive in her life, snd she loves him too much to leave him.

My Persephone- THE ENTIRETY OF HADES' PART IS SOOOOOOO IDIA -> OH MY GOD- I plan on making an animatic to have a visual representation of this more, but OMG PLSS LISTEN TO THE SONGGG- Persephone's line "shadows still have arms for hold, death is plenty to grow old with" is very Daphne though, since a big worry of idias was if they were to get married, Daphne would have to live the rest of her life on the island of woes and be co-director of STYX, ans he didn't want her to be miserable, but Daphne didn't mind.

Crossroads- both, works better since rhe song is a duet. "Why am I frozen in place? At a crossroads, am I a disgrace?" A bit self explanatory ig.. (can you tell I'm getting a bit tired of writing-/hj)

Talking Over Me- DAPHNE -> IDIAAA, this song eisbsjdiieje. I plan on making some sort of animation with this one but here's some lyrics that really represent Daphne.

After gaining feelings for idia (specifically after her attempt), Daphne couldn't stop thinking about idia no matter how hard she tried, even while alone she felt like she was going insane with just how much he had a hold on her. After they started dating, the feeling got worse, but in a good way!!!

Hypnosis- Idia -> Daphne, basically how Daphne feels about idia with the previous song. "You know you hypnotize me always" in this context is used to represent the fact that whenever Daphne is around idia is just automatically focused on her presence. When she's on stage during shows his eyes are just on her. No matter what they're doing, he always has his attention on her, even if he doesn't realize it.

Bring me to life- the entire song is just hw they feel about each other, especially Daphne towards idia.

EVENT SUMMARY!!:

After confessing to each other during the Ghost Bride incident, Daphne and Idia want to enjoy themselves and go on dates… the problem is both of them hate public spaces and Idia really wants Daphne to be herself when she's around him. He doesn't want her to hide behind her facade when they're supposed to be enjoying themselves… Idia sets up a digital simulation of possible things they can do but nothing seems right to him (PROBABLY CUZ ITS NOT REAL-) so he reluctantly asks Cater and Ortho for help. Daphne, on the other hand, was struggling to pick something suitable to wear, not knowing if she should hide or be herself, not to mention she's anxious about messing something up during their date!!! Seeing Daphne grow increasingly stressed out, Lilia and Kuro come in to help!!!

Idia shroud gets a girlfriend!!! What happens next will shock you!!!

(Tw for an attempt on one's own life and body image issues under the cut. As well as other mentions of death and potential spoilers for twst book 6)

How they met:

Even before they formally met, idia had already been interested in Daphne. She made a quiet and funny comment about herself when the dark mirror told her that her soul belonged nowhere. Idia found it relatable and funny but brushed it off as nothing more.

On their first official day of classes, they had bumped into each other before arriving to their homeroom class. They had never seen someone as pretty as the other before, both of them got crazy flustered, but idia eventually helped Daphne up. Idia (in typical idia fashion) speedran his way to his homeroom class, which is coincidentally Daphne's aswell. Daphne texted her best friend all about the guy she met/bumped into. (Yes. She's actually also a massive loser. Just to let you know-)

That's when he learned her name, and she wouldn't leave his head, and neither would he leave hers.

Friendship! Except they're both just hiding their feelings for eachother!:

After having a few passive conversations, Idia started looking at Daphne in class. He was deeply intrigued by her. Everyone always said she's "helpful' and 'so selfless', which can definitely been seen with her constantly helping and doing things for other students, but why does he feel as if he's the only one seeing her eye bags? The way her smile, while gentle, always seemed so forced? Was he the only one seeing how dull her eyes are?

During Daphne's Ceremonial Robes Vignette (which will be fully written and posted eventually) he finds her standing on one of the balconies of the school, her shoes off and hair messier than it usually is. He pulled her back though, scared and afraid. He didn't want to lose someone else, especially his first genuine human connection and the person he's growing to love (romantically).

He had gotten his answer, he finally got to see the real Daphne. The broken, messed up, and emptiness that made up Daphne. Despite it all he still looked at her with love in his eyes, he was determined. He would save her. He would show her love.

After that they just became closer, Daphne constantly going to his dorm room to play video games and such. There was another issue though.

Daphne is crazy insecure, she's hates her weight ,and the way she looks. In all she just hates herself. She wishes she could be perfect fr idia, scared that if she confesses it'll end up just like it did last time she has a crush.

Idia had no idea about this, but he was still there to help her when he knew she needed a break. She's a very stubborn person.

Confession, FINALLY:

During the Phantom Bride event, Daphne was quick to help out, Ortho even specifically asking her too since he knew about her and Idias feelings for each other.

This is already crazy long, so just to sum it up: Daphne had assisted in getting Eliza to leave twisted wonderland, after the rest of the suitors were freed, and the party was over, Idia decided to walk her back to her dorm as a thank you.

She knew it was the perfect opportunity to confess, so she finally took that chance.

And to her surprise, he liked her back!! The two awkward asf losers shared a kiss, before Daphne headed off back to her dorm by herself, heart racing at her finally having a boyfriend, more specifically, the guy of her dreams. (All though people tell her she should raise her standards-)
