Merry Christmas!

I finally finished this piece I started at the beginning of December! I only got free time recently. I wanted to just draw them being cute in silly holiday sweaters; and I succeeded. I'm happy with how it came out! Yume def gets into the holiday spirit, sewing things for their friends, and decorating the ramshackle. I think they would try to lean really hard into the holiday spirit so they don't get upset when they realize all their friends are going home to their families for Christmas. They and their brothers don't really get that choice after all. And while they love their adoptive brothers very much I can't help but think they would be lonely around this time if they dwell on their circumstances for too long. So they have to keep themselves busy! So they don't fall into that depression.

A Small Reader x Idia Shroud Idea (Slight NSFT)

Whenever Idia gets a new game, he's infamous for hunkering down in his room for like a whole weekend or more, playing it to completion. No one can get in and no one can contact him, the door is fortified and programmed to open only once he says so.

He likes you, but has not been able to bridge the gap from 'friendship.' Unfortunately for him too, someone else has been trying to be more than friends too. Doesn't matter which of the other guys, just someone privy to his getting the new copy of a game he loves... And taking advantage of it to ask you to help him with something that same weekend. You'll be with him alone, finally uninterrupted by the big, gloomy, jealous guy. Unfortunately for him, Ortho finds out and tells Idia about it. He is not about to let that happen.

On Friday, after classes, he innocently asks you to come watch him play in his room for a bit. You agree and are only slightly alarmed when he sat down and pulled you into his lap like it was a usual thing. You were going to say something about it, but he was quick to start playing and you fall into a calm rhythm as he goes round after round, getting through the first stages. It's been hours and the sun is gone now. You get up to stretch and tell him you think it's time to sleep.

'You can take the bed, I just need to beat this miniboss then I can join you.'

'..... what? Uh, that’s ok, I'm gonna go home-'

'Oh. Yeah.' He pauses the game. 'About that..... no. You're not.'

'....... what.'

'The door is locked. IT won’t move until I beat the game.'

*'WHAT? WHY?'*

'So no one bothers us? Duh. Anyways, it's gonna be fine, this game should take two days tops. And! I prepped with some good shit in the fridge. It's gonna be fun!'

'IDIA???!!!!'

You try calling someone else but the signal is jammed. You have no way out. So you begrudgingly accept your fate when he gets on the bed with you and cuddles you while apologizing. He's not sorry at all, but he knows if he acts pitiable, you'll let him off easy. Despite how he was looking forward to a weekend alone, he's finding having you here to be much more exciting. He feels like a thirsty man that found water as he allows himself to do everything he's wanted to do with you... to you without the fear of judgement.

You’re surprised by how daring he’s become in the comfort of his room. Boundaries are broken those days as he keeps getting more and more touchy, eventually having to pause the game multiple times because he gets too distracted. You start by just making out… then getting each other off. Soon it's just rut after rut, he's got you to himself, why shouldn't he take advantage?

In the end, beating the game took longer than predicted.

By the time the last level is over and the door unlocks itself, you’re both exhausted, in need of good, not instant-food and a long bath. Jealous opponent be damned, things are official now with you and Idia thanks to a game.
