Into the Athenaverse (part 1 of 2, I hope)

This was actually super fun! Only having to draw waist-up was so 🤌🤌🤌 and this forced me to think of some different poses/ angles so they wouldn’t look boring, 10/10 experience

DM me if your interested in reading the first chapter of my epic fic. I am going insane, the plot is lost in the sauce, and the characters won't stop yapping. I think the tone might give whiplash from how quickly I switch from fluff to angst, im a godamn lightswitch. I think an outside perspective could rly help. OH 18+ only it's got Calypso and SA vibes and probably shouldn't be read by children. Lord knows thats how I got where I am.

I know this isn't what you meant but...

Influencer's AU. Athena and Odysseus used to do collabs before Odysseus getting involved in same youtube *drama* (she made a 2 hr long goodbye/callout video dedicated to him. It had a dis track that hit hard.)

Years she helps Telemachus in a twitter argument and realizes how much she missed Ody. Athena checks his YouTube channel, but it's been deleted! She ends up finding a "Odysseus all fails" it's an hour long.

IDK maybe Calypso has him trapped in a Pyramid scheme with her or something. Or their making prank couple swapping content.

Odysseus: Bitch. Walk out that door! See if I care! Who you going to talk now? Nobody. Because I'm your only friend.

Athena: You're going to get yourself killed. Good!

My fanfic!! It's a little bit of Ogygia Calypso/Odys angst that I can't work into my fic rn. Plus it's just a little off? Idk. It's in the same continuity as another fic, if you like maybe check that out "you got that yummy-yum" (I'm sorry about the name!)

No SA (sort of?) but rancid vibes (be careful!) If you like Calypso your probably not going to enjoy this.

“Wouldn’t you do the same?” Calypso asked. She combs through his hair, her fingers coated in oil. Odysseus pressed into the hand. The bath is warm, his eyelids are heavy. He had laid exhausted on the beach, unwilling to risk sleep yet unwilling to move. Calypso let him lay there for nearly two days before she dragged him in, to feed and bathe. 

“If you were cursed to be alone for eternity. Wouldn’t you do the same?” Her face was pinched. Raw in a way Odysseus had never seen. “Wouldn’t you? if given the chance to have company. Wouldn’t you do whatever it took to keep him?” She cupped his cheek and guided him to look at her. 

Calypso looked so vulnerable, so pained by something Odysseus thought she could not feel, guilt. “Wouldn’t you?” 

He leaned forward and kissed her lips. 

Calypso’s face did not spread into delight as it normally did. Instead perfect crystal teardrops beaded in her eyes. “I’ve hurt you. I have. I didn’t mean to. I’m sorry! I’m sorry. Forgive me!” She embraced him. 

He blinked. Staring at her grief stricken expression. He placed both hands to hold her face and looked into her. “I can’t forgive you. Not until you let me go.”

Calypso stares at him and then wails. “You cannot understand, mortal! Eternity is long. It is vast. And I am alone in it! Forgive me!” She thrashed and Odysseus let go. Startled at seeing the goddess break. “My sisters, my father, I shall never see them again. Why can’t you understand that?” 

“My love. Please. Let me see my family. Let me go.” Odysseus pleaded. As though he were awakened from a deep sleep he became aware of how naked and vulnerable he was before her. 

“I know your pain. It is the lonesome burden we bear.” She brought their foreheads to rest against one another. “You would do the same.” Calypso decided. 

She pulled back and once again began to wash his hair. Picking up the pieces of her cracked facade. “You have an eternity to forgive me.”
