Sketches before I can animate:D!

I've been working on every character's design since the end of last year. I mean, it is really annoying not to be able to do things I want (animating) haha

Watching others having their own designs for Hermes, I honestly want my Hermes to have sth special but I couldn't decide which style fits him well. But at the end of the day, I managed to make this, the final design for now, a postman. (It was a real pain)

I also drew Athena with him, but this will come out only when she argues with Ares in God Games

I mean, what if they were close friends (Actually like siblings) (I DEFINITELY will add this into my animatic if I can)

Sometime ago Jay Herrans mentioned that Epic would make a great animated show and my brain fried.

Presenting Epic: the animated God Games, or at least how it looks like in my head and with my designs.

Open them to see the crispy good quality.

Will probably draw more because I need to draw Hermes being chaotic and bouncing and Poseidon being downright terrifying.

Okay so I was watching @anniflamma's God Games animatic (the Hera one) for probably the 100th time, and I paused at one point for whatever reason, and I noticed a little detail.

This is when Athena says "Never once has he cheated on his wife", and I see the cocky expression on her face, like she knows that she won with that... BUT if you look at her hand, you can see she's like... Squeezing her upper arm a little?

Now I know basically nothing about art or how you portray stuff so excuse me if I'm wrong somewhere, but I think this might be like... Athena being a little nervous or something? Maybe? I'm not sure, but I really wanted to share this little... discovery.

These animatics are So. Freaking. Good.

Just imagine, the gods partying on Mt.Olympus:

Me studying for exam but EPICs keep playing in my mind so I post this just to calm down my nerve:)

I love the idea that the Gods are closed siblings, some being biased and willing to fight just for nothing

So, I’m kind of new to Epic and I’m really loving it (it’s my new hyperfixation). Because of this I’ve been watching a lot of animatics and came across the “God Games” animatics. I was just wondering what saga these songs are from and if they are still going to be released further down the road.

God Games is a song from the Wisdom Saga! There will for sure be other parts of this we haven’t heard yet! There will be sung ‘fights’/‘games’ between Athena and Ares, Aphrodite, Apollo, Hera, Hephaestus, and Zeus. Athena has to convince all of them to let Odysseus leave Calypso’s island. So far we have heard bits of Aphrodite, Ares, and Hera, but nothing yet from Apollo and Hephaestus! Nor the final decision of Zeus, though we know from the later songs that he does get freed!

I love how in EPIC, in Warrior of the Mind, when Odysseus says "Sounds like a plan, goddess and man, bestest of friends", Athena says "We'll see where it ends", and then in My Goodbye, she says "You're not looking for a mentor, I'm not looking for a friend"

AND THEN in God Games when Ares insults Telemachus (saying that Odysseus is "pathetic and weak like his son"), and Athena just loses it and goes all "hoLD YOUR TONGUE NOW, HIS SON'S MY FRIEND"

I mean sure she had character development and all, but it's just so funny for me, for some reason, that she keeps telling Odysseus that they're not friends she's just his mentor... And then she gets so protective over Telemachus
