Not a day goes back that I don't think about the hardships my mom and I went through and what she sacrificed to keep a roof over my head. I'm not dwelling on the negatives but I'm constantly reminded of the struggles we still go through and I'm #grateful to be in a position now to finally change not only our life but the lives of other families who have experienced the same circumstances. The reason why I'm so motivated to push through is because I literally grow up on the bottom of the barrel and I know what's like to feel like you lost everything. We had a breakout session for our office and we decided to have a #teambuilding activity. The activity was a lip sync / air band battle and I was appointed the leader for my team so I NEEDED TO MAKE SURE OUR TEAM WON to earn a #mentorship session with our CEO @nicklancaster25. Something I learned this weekend is that "WANT" and "NEED" are 2 different things but sometimes, your wanting something can become an obsession to the point where it becomes a NECESSITY. And as long as we have a fearless leader in our office who is willing to fight in the trenches with us, best believe that his coaching, guidance and mentorship must become a daily necessity in order to succeed to the next level.
