Valentine's Day Update

Let’s see, what’s happened around here of late… John got a lip bumper put in as a precursor to braces. This thing should gently push his teeth back to make room for them to grow. Last Few Months

Soccer Aside from John in baseball, which I recapped thoroughly yesterday, Edie switched to soccer for the fall. One teeball season per year is enough for her! She was in a boys’ 7U division so she could play alongside good friend Brexton. She didn’t score any goals (for the right team, anyway) but she had fun and the team had its share of wins! August: Birthdays, School, Etc.

Home Renovations

In December, I tried to fix a running toilet in the master bathroom upstairs. My repair attempts did not work, so I decided to fully replace the old toilet with a new one. After a relatively quiet March, things are picking up around here. In fact, as I write this, we are currently at Kalahari Resorts in Round Rock for a quick one-night stay, just a twenty minute drive from home. Happy Leap Day! House Turns 40 & Other News

Today we celebrate Leap Day, and for just the third time in his life, John’s half-birthday!
