Hate when our mom makes decisions for us. Especially when they are harmful to us.

We're taking a trip to Missouri, and it's an unfamiliar place, and we like to take something to comfort us, especially for Dexter, since he's anxious.

Our typical plushie is a weighted dino, and it really helps Dexter to just have something to grab onto.

Anyway, our mom comes in (when we're getting ready to leave for our brother's baseball game), and says "Dude can you not bring a giant stuffed animal in 90° heat?". Can you not mind your own business?

She hates the fact that we are so immature, but I genuinely don't understand why. She doesn't know that we're plural, but it doesn't matter when it comes to our immaturity. Sure, I'm mature, but Kody and Dexter are young and just trying to live.

I put it down because I know she will yell at us if not, but I wish she didn't care as much about what we do. Someday, we will live as we please, but for now, I hate the way she treats us sometimes.

We are a questioning OSDD 1b system. We have done tons of research, and are still continuing to try and get diagnosed. :) Breaks on this account are common, so don't expect consistent posting!

Kody (He/Him);

Kody is very snappy, and 15 years old (your typical teen, lol). He is the "OG" of the system, the one who is most in control. If you meet him, please be patient with him! We are working on his temper, but he is really sweet when he lets his guard down. Main interest is the Backrooms! (Sign off -🐾)

Julie/Lila (She/Her);

Void (It/Its);

At "rest state" its just a shadow figure, but it will take on the personality of whoever it needs to to remind the system of something. Usually our mom or Harry from dexter, forms of authority basically. It's not always an authority figure, and it doesn't always remind us of things, but that's typically what it does. We are still finding more about it's personality outside of shape-shifting, as we believe it has one.

Plurality Confusion, we're ready to find out.

Any plurals, please help below the cut! :) TLDR at end post.

I feel as if I don't want to admit it, but im still questioning plurality, even after taking a break from this blog. I just want to be a singular person, but I don't feel that way. I feel like I'm too complicated and conflicting to just be one whole being.

let me explain further.

Here's one "half" of me:

More here, can feel happy but feels "mellow", laid back relatively. Is a wolf. That's for sure. Likes crime shows and historical events. Is a boy, very, very masculine. Bottles up emotions and is solitary.

Here's the other half:

Is a girly girl. Likes pop music and kids cartoons. Loves cats, isn't one, but loves them. Older than the other, ready to make decisions, but also spontaneous. Talks all the time. Loud and proud. medium hair, glasses.

I don't know what it is. I feel like these two separately, and then sometimes they merge a bit. Like a spectrum. I know it could just be me being a wishy-washy teenager, but it doesn't really feel that way. It's so real for whatever reason.

For example, i love being a boy, and i am so masculine, i identify as a trans man. but I also want to be a girl. not the part of me that wants to be a boy though. they're two distinct and can't come together. they want two different things for this body.

I feel like I'm not a person and I hate it.

I don't know what to do.

Is this something I should be concerned about and tell my therapist?

My mind is so confusing and I only wish to figure it out and find peace. I want to live two separate lives to make both happy. get them out of my body. whoever "me" is.

I think I'm the masculine one, the one who's always depressed and in denial of himself. I've tried to push the other side away for so damn long, and when I give in, I feel like a different person. like I can keep the other one at bay, but not for long.

I don't know what to do. please help. anyone.

TLDR:

I feel like i have two distinct personalities, and it's hard to bring them together even though that's what I want. I feel like maybe if I let them be separate, my issues would be solved, but I've also tried exploring it and it feels too scary because I just want to be one person. I'm not sure what this is called or how to stop it.

hey guys! sorry I haven't been very active. ill explain it really quick below the cut.

there actually is a lot to explain. but basically, I'm not ready to figure myself (our ourself) out just yet.

I think we rushed into the plural label. and don't get me wrong, I probably am still plural, I'm just not ready to explore that side yet.

Julie still exists. I know that. I know she is a thing. but whether she has the ability to take over my body, have her own personality, have her own set of name and pronouns, is a question for a couple years down the road.

As soon as I'm ready to pick up this identity again, I will blog about it immediately lol, as this is my form of connecting and coping, but I want to take a long ass break from working on finding myself.

I have a lot to worry about, being the person I am. I'm an age regressor, I'm nonhuman/alterhuman/therian (whatever you want to call me), I'm transgender, I'm mentally ill, and now there's parts of that that could be explained with plurality.

although I want to understand why I am the way I am, I don't know if I'm ready to hear it. I also tend to get wrapped up in a label and start to imagine what isn't real. like dinosaur guy? that dude was just a figment of my imagination. I don't think he was an actual thing. (though Julie was 100% real).

theres also SO many labels to explore, and maybe we arent a system, but something is just up with our personality or we're a polymind. I don't know, but it isn't in my best interest to find that out right now.

It's hard to explain, and if you guys have any questions at all, I can answer them.

Being a system with 2 different religions is weird.

Neither of us Christian, but there's this preacher kid in our class and oh my he's annoying. Like to the max.

But I can't say that because he knows Kody, not me, and that would just create a whole mess.

💛-Not really! My role is really just to keep Kody company and stable (emotional support cat activities) and to be nice when Kody can't/be nice if he's about to not be. Kody does all the important bodily stuff!

💚-Kind of! We're working on building it since our imagination has gotten duller as we got older, but we do have a space to visualize ourselves and to talk to eachother.

💙-We haven't explored many terms, but we know for sure we don't have DID. We prefer just to be called plural, because that's for sure a fact. Like we know we aren't a singlet, we don't know why we aren't but it isn't due to trauma so calling us a DID system wouldn't make much sense at all, you know? We also don't want to like invade their spaces or anything!

💜-It's just me and Kody in the system (as far as we know), so my age is 17, and Kody identifies with the bodily age which is 14.

🤎-I prefer not to label myself, I identify with cats and feel like a cat a lot of the time, but Kody is nonhuman! he is a werewolf and has a couple of other kintypes. I don't feel any sort of nonhuman stuff he feels, which is interesting!! I feel phantom ears and tail, like a kemononimi cat if you will, but Kody gets way more and feels more nonhuman than I do. A lot of the time he's in headspace he appears as a werewolf.

🖤- We're doing pretty good collectively! Anxiety is healing a lot now that Kody is aware of my existence, and we're still working on anger management. Maybe we would like someone to help with procrastination and attention span, but that may just be a Kody-needs-to-fix-that-himself issue.
