Had an idea

Imagine Dean goes to pick up his little brother, Sam, from campus. He's overworked and exhausted, and all he wants to do is go home, eat the pie he got yesterday, and sleep till morning

He pulls up to the curb where he usually picks up Sam and calls "Get in". Doesn't think twice to drive away after hearing the backseat door open and close. Doesn't question why Sammy would go to the back instead of shotgun

Jack meanwhile, waits 10 full minutes before asking, "So where are we going?"

Dean nearly swerves off the road before hitting the breaks. Fully awake now, he turns and stares at Jack ".. You're not Sammy" Jack tilts his head and squints. "No, I'm Jack."

"Why the fuck are you in my car???"

"You told me to get in."

"You don't know who I am! Why the fuck did you listen???"

Meanwhile, professor Castiel is on campus, freaking the fuck out because he can't find his son who he told specifically to wait for him on the curb near his last class

Sam, one of Cas' students, is trying to help and reassure him cause Cas is having an absolute meltdown

Neither of them knows Dean accidentally kidnapped Cas' son

Shinanigans ensue

Imagine a modern-day fic where Dean accidentally hits Cas with his car

And like, there's no amnesia or like sevear injuries thankfully, just a mild concussion and a pissed off Castiel

And Dean just feels REALLY fucking guilt about it cause it was 100% his fault, and he's lucky this Cas guy isn't pressing charges or anything

But that guilt follows him like a ghost cause everywhere he goes, Cas is there. And no matter where he is, Dean watches something bad happen to Cas every time

And Dean is just a long line of bad luck that fell upon this poor man who, whenever they lock eyes, just gives Dean this pained smile as if Cas was the one who ran over Dean

And Dean tells Sam about this, and Sam jokes that maybe this is karma

So, to make sure he isn't plagued by 100 years of guilt, Dean tries to interact with Cas and befriend him. Maybe get him to smile and be a casual friend, hoping he'll stop feeling bad for this guy

Only to find out he actually LIKES LIKES Cas cause he's dorky and weird and funny, and he's hella resilient and hopeful even after all the shit he's been through

and it's just a sitcom where both question whether or not their friendship is real or just something Dean does out of guilt

I'm running low of inspiration and motivation rn
