im finally finished,, i can now rest, my hands are done but my brain will forever be deep into the twst xianxia brainrot,, i have so many ideas for how this dynamic will turn out !!!!!! i hope i did their characters justice with how i portrayed them here,,, i had the most fun doing grim(he's such a gremlin lol)

It's so cold.

That was the only thing that echoed inside your head as you walked through the path leading to Ramshackle. The layers your uniform provided didn't help much, you could still feel the cold sinking into your skin and you dread how much longer you'll have to walk just to arrive at the doorstep.

You shouldn't have underestimated the weather. You thought you were going to be alright when you remembered that the school's heating system was powered by magic, making it feel like the perfect temperature—the temperature from when you went out was long gone, and you wonder if the weather was moodier here.

"Maybe Ramshackle is just neglected...?" You wonder, thinking that maybe the pathway wasn't as warm because of that.

Still, you continued to walk.

It didn't take long before you heard a loud voice behind you, making you flinch after basking in silence. Was it a random person? No, that voice was too familiar. Was it someone well-known in the school? Or maybe it was someone you knew, you could vaguely hear your name being called out if your ears haven't failed you yet.

"WHY AREN'T YOU WEARING MORE LAYERS—!?"

Ah. Of course, there was only one person in the world whose voice was loud enough to communicate such questions. The sight of him rushing towards you with a huge chunk of clothes in his arms forced a smile out of you. You'll have to prepare yourself for a scolding while he dresses you up with more warm clothing.

But that's fine. You can think of him as your prince charming coming to your rescue.
