Sometimes you feel so alone. Like a child lost with no home…

They keep telling you to be strong.

What do you want to hear?

THE Power of Stepping Away.

For the longest time fear kept me Stuck.

Stuck in the matter, the first things that scared me forced me to stay present. Forced me to listen, to stay in its sights never to turn my heard or scream.

The things used invisible rope made of words, actions, connections to make shackles.

Shackles that were made to look like jewels

The things just wanted me to be one with it. One with the fear it was shackled to.

Oh how I had dreams and soon realities of Freedom. Freedom from the direct control and manipulation of the Fear.

Until I realized the shackles stay until I’m ready to unlock them.

Until I see the fear as not fear but continuation. Until I see myself as not Bonded but Separate and equal.

Separate has a ring to it, it means Choice.

Equal has a ring to it, it means Connection, opportunity, reason.

I had reason to make the choice of discontinuing fear and discovering freedom.

By Stepping away, life looked different.

Sense was/is made, Voices fell silent, fear felt tangible… optional

Just by Stepping away… Favor flowed
