Need to try these. I haven't made blondies in ages

blondies ♡

2c flour (240g)

2tsp baking powder

¼tsp salt

½c butter (57g)

2tb thick yogurt (28g)

1c brown sugar (220g)

1c white sugar (200g)

2 eggs

1tsp vanilla

1c mix-ins

preheat oven to 350F

sift together flour, baking powder, salt, & mix-ins

melt and cool butter in a separate bowl

mix the yogurt into the butter

stir in both sugars to the butter

add in the eggs and vanilla, till completely combined

fold in drys to the wets --- it will be a stiff batter

grease a 9x13" pan and spread the batter in

bake at 350F for about 25min

cut into bars while warm, then let cool fully before removing bars from the pan

mix in options: cookie pieces, walnuts, chocolate pieces, chopped up candy, etc

Work bouquet for valentines day from my love 💓 He brought me home a beautiful big vase of sunflowers and daisies(pictures to come) and this smaller work bouquet last night since I work shorter hours on Fridays 🥰🥰🥰 my office smells so lovely. Thanks you @robrhblog I love you!

Unpopular (?) Opinion: Jr High/High school choir and band concerts should not be so long they require an INTERMISSION. It is 8 pm on a Wednesday and we have already been here since 6pm. So a concert will last until 9 pm. If the concert lasts that long either split it up on different nights or don't require them to be there the whole night. It's called consideration, not only for the parents but also the kids mental well being.

Happy first day of Autumn, the equinox, Mabon if you will. The weather has been splendid, cloudy and breezy, the wind still kissed with the warmth of summer, but not stifling. A few stray showers(could really use more!) I spent the morning starting my simmer pot, which has been on the stove all day, done some housework, and enjoyed a cigar beneath our trees. Wish my hubby had been home to relax with me, but alas, adulting. Spent the afternoon reading, baking cookies and starting chili for supper. Unfortunately it's back to work tomorrow, but it's been a lovely start to the coming season
