You know people are going to say that these accusations are "fake" Because in the current system no matter race gender but it's men who get protected Time and Time Again by men and women even when the evidence isn't there to support them.

We live in the world where people like to assume that celebrities are innocent by default. Any accusation put against them is a person trying to get money!!. The public have essentially made a class of people who can do any crime and get away with it because they are celebrities Because celebrities are Innocent by default and they are an ascended class of people who have to answer to no one and have no accountability to anyone and Because everyone loves them they make Hollywood millionaires and billionaires in multibillion-dollar Industries too much money.

Beyond the poor people patriarchy this is some typical trash man sh*t. I can't believe I and other people liked him for years! Being a celebrity is a powerful drug... no puns or references intended

i know there’s a lot going on but ICE are now one step closer to literally creating gas chambers. they are spraying a chemical called HDQ neutral roughly 100 times a day, every 15 minutes at the adelanto detention center (one of the biggest in the country). people are getting rashes, headaches, their insides are bleeding, etc. the guards are wearing gloves and masks but the detainees have NOTHING. and here’s a quick reminder - america inspired the nazis to create gas chambers when they gassed latino people during the 1917 bath riots.

My feed is currently exploding with the fact that Biden picked Kamala Harris as his veep. I would like to remind my friends of the following points:

1) She's a cop, and we're allowed to be unhappy. We're allowed to be mad, even.

2) We are not just voting for the Presidency. We are also voting for Ruth Bader Ginsburg's replacement. And a lot of other stuff, but let RBG retire or die secure in the knowledge that doing so will not fuck over this country.

3) "Kamala Harris is a cop and ACAB" and "Kamala Harris's nomination represents a number of important firsts in the field of politics" are both solid takes that do not cancel one another out and in fact coexist because we do not live in a magic Star Wars world where we have just have the Light Side and Dark Side.

4) The immigrants currently being held in cages and doused with weapons-grade disinfectant by our own government will not appreciate the subtleties of our political choices if we elect Trump for a second term through our inaction or dithering. For that matter, the people dying of COVID because Trump gutted the pandemic response team and then mishandled our response to the virus will not appreciate them. Because they're dying or dead. Because we couldn't get our shit together four years ago. My own mother may be one of these people. I'll never know for sure.

You're all adults, and I'm not here to tell you what to do. I will, however, share what I'm going to do: I will vote for Biden and his cop sidekick in November. And then if Trump gets a second term anyway, I'm arming myself and getting my ducks in order to go underground, because my Jewish wife and I are not going into the gas chambers quietly.

Y’all better stop thinking you can talk to anyone on the internet any type of way, especially when you struggle making calls to people in real life. People on the internet are not target practice for the insults you never got to hurl at your 5th grade bullies, or fodder for your unfettered feelings of insecurity that you can’t seem to stop projecting on others. We get it: you have no sense of control or power over your life so you go online and try to mimic that same power you wish you had. Take it up with your therapist, don’t bring that shit around me.

Mmm. Did you know that out of the 120 voice actors less than 7 noticeably exsisting side characters one time villains included voice actors are confirmed POC? If I didn't include one/a few scene Side characters it'll be less than 4. They may be voice actors that are non-white that look white passing and have European names but that's how few they are.

Vaatu from The Legend of Korra was voiced by Jonathan Adams. If you want another one to add to the list black actors relegated villains Kevin Michael Richardson also played Lightning Bolt Zolt in The Legend of Korra. He was a villain. Even of he's debated by some to be an anti villain who terrorized non-benders in violence and extortion is a dragon head or gang lord for the Triads. Yeah and the only good character is a dog. Why? You see a pattern of Hollywood relegating black male actors to villains disproportionately while not allowing them to be the hero of their story or neutral normal character disproportionately. Outside the black friend.

This is only a fraction of the issues the world is facing. This is not to say that Muslim’s are only facing hardship, I am simply trying to raise awareness about these specific countries. This post doesn’t cover all of it. Our brothers and sisters in Syria, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, Albania, Kurdistan and so many more are still suffering. ⁣These are beautiful countries that are masked by war and famine.

All I hope from each of you is that you learn something new each day. If you’re reading this right now it is likely you come from a place of privilege. Use that privilege to educate yourself and stay informed on the issues this world is facing today. ⁣
