College work: Pastiche

Completed this today, it’s a Pastiche (or an artists copy if your not in art school lol) of one of PJ Kaiowa’s pieces from a few years ago I think.

Took soooooooo long to do and I was maybe losing my mind a bit (I blame it on the alcohol marker fumes) because the face wasn’t as accurate as I wanted it to be, but hey! We move and I think it turned out great!

(Mind you, the prints photo on the right is very over saturated than the image I was working off of, just in case you were worried if white washed the character)

Pencil sketches for college

Last week I went to the Royal Armoury museum in Leeds for a class trip. It was pretty cool - even if it didn't really help me with my current project.

These drawings are of armour (and a gun) from around the 1600's used by the british. I think my favourite one is probably the bottom left one just because of how detailed it is (I mean it's got hearts on it, how could it not be my favourite?).
