JIMMY IS A BLUE!!!!

As absolutely crushed that we didn’t make it past the first round in Nationals this year… I am so happy for Jimmy and so excited to see what he does in St. Louis! I was shocked when he came back for year 3, but it was so good to get to watch him for another year in the Minnesota maroon.

Jimmy, from everyone in Gopher nation, we are so proud of you and are so excited to cheer you on (unless it’s against our teams).

Hot take Gophers fans…

Maybe it’s time to let Bob go.. it’s been 7 years since he took over, and we’ve come close and have ALWAYS missed it. Tonight’s game is proof of this.

I’m hopeful but not optimistic with our chances of winning the Natty this year. If we lose, or worse, don’t even make it to the frozen four, then my point becomes even stronger.

I love this team, win or lose. I just know that we’re seriously missing our full potential.

Being a woman who enjoys sports is not for the weak y’all. I know every other woman feels this… the constant “you’re only watching it cause you think they’re hot” and the age old “name 5 players.”

I’ve recently been very grateful for my girlfriends who also love hockey and other sports. We belong here just as much as anyone else- and we are not going anywhere.

I am just very grateful for the community of women in sports!! Wanted to let y’all know it ✨💕

MY THOUGHTS ON THE NHL THIS YEAR (mainly my two teams)

We’re sucking. Both the Bruins and the Nucks just are not having a good go of it. I kept hoping it would get better but it sadly has just gotten worse and worse.. especially for the bruins.

The Nucks might get the wildcard this season… they’re ranked 2nd rn for it, so you never know, but the Bruins just have a lot more work to do.

Honestly, it’s time to bring in some new guys. I think we’re having the same problem the penguins had last year (and this year too) where we are just relying on our old guys and not bringing up any new ones.

This has been a building year… but it’s been so painful to watch. Next year though… man I hope we can finally be a contender again.

Guess who is SO BACK y’all

I hope y’all have been keeping up with hockey this season… gonna be a wild post season for sure!!

NCAA’s last week of regular season play was this last weekend, and Big10 is in like 2 weeks (AND I GET TO GO TO IT AHHHHHH)!!

Here are my predictions for NCAA:

- Gophers are gonna win Big10 but choke in the frozen four (it happens every year y’all… hurts my heart to say it)

- Michigan State is gonna take home the national title this year… they’ve been having such a dominant season all around minus the few upsets here and there (but come on that’s literally just hockey)

- Jimmy Snuggerud is gonna get the Hobey this year (his stats are seriously INSANE not to mention his other 2 years leading up to it. I’m also slightly biased because I am still mad about Matty Knies not getting it two years ago)

- We’ll see another mass signing of prospects right after the post season ends and NHL post season begins… I don’t know if we’ll see Snuggy get signed right away just because the Blues aren’t having too great of a season thus far… there is still another month left in regular season so that could very well change!

So yeah :) sorry I’ve been MIA- been going through it recently but God is good and we’re back on track!

Hockey nation I have a question!

I’m moving to a big city for the first time in my LIFE in a month, but I’m a Bruins fan, not a fan of the team that I’m moving to. Regardless, I’m still planning on going to games (obviously) and I’m debating getting a jersey, but I don’t want to be a bandwagoner.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
