Some notes:

Seirin senpais have already noted their personalities are the complete opposite from each other (I think the pic can explain that for itself)

As someone mentioned somewhere on Tumblr, they are have the kanji for “morning” and “night” in their last names. 

For the time being only two new members have joined Seirin

Asahina has heard of the rumors about “The Phantom Sixth Man of the Generation of Miracles” and realizes in a practice match that it’s Kuroko, who teaches him Seirin’s way of fighting.

It seems like we’re supposed to find him to be an asshole right now, both Kuroko and Momoi clearly find him to be one (though, Momoi still cares a lot about him), and the narrative seems to be implying that it’ll eventually be about giving him the wake up call he needs/redeeming his character.  So, I can sit back and go YES I LOVE THIS ASSHOLE and mean it in a “holy shit, he’s hilarious, I love this asshole being such an asshole” way, but also in a “I’m pretty sure I have legit feelings because I can trust the series to give his character the depth I’m hoping for” way.
