Here's a little story idea that I thought of but have no idea what to do with:

The U.S. invaded England because they had "gained too much power",and now every year they randomly pick 100 contestants from the lower British class to play a "game" where they get put in a hole with nothing but the clothes on their back and enough food and water to last 50 people 1 week. The game lasts until there are 2 people left, and they are crowned winner, they get to move up to high class. If anyone tries to disobey they get publicly executed, high or low class Everyone lives in fear of getting picked because it will most likely end in death They were calling the names of the contestants for this year, just like every year everyone's scared that they would get picked, even me as they were calling the names one rang in my ear "ella kinsley" that name sounded familiar. Wait, that's my name! Now I was really scared I would have to participate in the pit games. My friend tried to comfort me as I panicked. then they came and took me and put me in a van as I struggled. There were two other kids there, the boy looked about my age and the girl looked like she was five or six. We all jolted as they slammed the door shut, there were no windows in the van so we didn't know what time it was or where we were It seemed like hours had passed and we had finally got there. We went inside the building and the rest of the people were there. One specific person caught my eye. It was Luna, my best friend from middle school. I had moved in 7th grade without warning, and i never saw her after that. It has been 3 years, and I hope she still remembers me. I walk up to her, and she recognizes me. 1 start to say something, but then i got cut off. "BEEP BEEP BEEP." There was an announcement that came on,"we are now commencing the tournament," it said, we are starting. We held on to each other tight, not wanting to let go as we entered the pit. Everyone was scared, nobody wanted to be there, nobody except this one kid who was jumping with joy.
