I AM GONNA WORK ON THE RYOUGA STARTERS TODAY AS WELL cause i miss writing him...... but if anyone would like a rio starter, here's a starter call for her too?? i have muse for her today, so i'd like to use it!

"Haaah? You expect me to tell you just like that?"

Mizael's answer only confirms in Anna's mind what she already suspected - this guy wants something to do with Yuma, and he's up to no good. Besides that, though, his attitude is more than enough to piss her off on it's own! There's no heart of gold lying behind that pretty face, that's for sure.

"You didn't even answer my question; why should I answer yours?" she retorts, though there's no way in hell she would've answered him even if he had. To be honest, Anna doesn't even know where Yuma is, either. It's not like she tracks him 24/7 throughout the day. But she doesn't see the need to inform Mizael of that, especially considering that she intends to dig for more information here - and to do that, he needs to think she might be of use to him.

"I know you want something from him, so spill! Or do you think I'm messing around here?"

Mizael quickly turns to the shouting from the human girl his eyes cold and locking on her weapon before observing her reactions. Oh she knew Yuma? Maybe this search would be quick then and he could leave. The only reason he listens to Durbe/Dumon was is show of respect after Nasch vanished. He stepped forward allowing a grin to briefly appear before he frowned. "You are a rude one. Can't you see i'm busy looking for someone girl?" His tone flat as he looking anywhere but her.

"That's really none of your business. But you know him?" He stops looking around the bright and colorful city attention all on her now. "Tell me where is Yuma now? You seem close if you're willing to get in trouble for him."

kind of a long shot, but would anyone like anything from umimi? i'd love to do something with her investigating the supernatural/sci-fi elements of zexal as an outsider.

Anna doesn't recognize the boy with the long hair, and she's sure she'd know if she'd seen him before - he stands out a lot, after all. An appearance that distinctive isn't so easily forgotten. But even so... even if she doesn't know his name, there's no denying one thing - everything about him is suspicious!

She's sure that he has some connection with Yuma, having overheard a conversation between him and another kid where his name was brought up. And to be honest, that's more than enough reason to investigate - especially considering the chill she gets whenever she looks at him for too long. Anna's never ignored her gut before, and she's not about to start now.

"Hey, you!" As always, her yell is loud and unapologetic as she calls out to him, hands on hips. Her trusty cannon is slung over her shoulder.

"What do you want with Yuma!?"

i remember talking about this when i was young and zexal had just finished airing too but. i think ryouga should be forced to sit through a history class where he learns about his own past life and kingdom (as well as what became of it). as a treat.

The pain that each word from IV inflicts in him carves a bitter smile onto Ryouga's face; an ugly thing that seems like a sneer. The situation has spiraled out of control, and part of him takes a sick satisfaction in watching IV fall apart, forced to endure the same confusion, anger and anguish that tormented Ryouga oh-so-recently.

Not that those feelings ever went away. But it's surprisingly easy - to put on a show, to take everything that's twisted inside him and turn it into a performance; one that pretends he never cared about IV at all, and that he isn't drowning in a self-loathing stronger than he's ever felt. Once you get past the pain, the rest comes naturally.

"You've always been slow, IV. But I'm still surprised." Hate me, he thinks, realizing all at once that that's what he wants. If IV rejects him, then maybe Ryouga can tear himself away from his human life for good. Pretending to still be fighting on his side would've torn him apart, letting doubts and hesitation destroy him, so this... this is for the best.

"The bigger picture? Are you really willing to die so easily? And leave that younger brother of yours behind?" Bringing up III feels like striking low, but that's what he needs right now. In a way, it's like falling into an old pattern - lashing out at IV like he used to, seeking to hurt - yet their positions in the conflict have now reversed.

He steps closer. "I hope you're prepared to never see him again."

His expression turned from worry to pure rage stepping forward to try and make the other snap out of whatever this was. "You sure are not the shark i knew right now! All this and for what!?" He snapped point at him as if to attach him with his words only. "What the hell is your problem! Are you seriously not fighting with us-" And he paused. Like a sick and twisted thought fell inti place. Could Ryouga be working with the barians now? Is that why. Or was he being controlled somehow? Why else would he say not with Yuma either. That was in Thomas mind a warning sign. "Ryouga... are you- you can't be..not..no..did you just threatening me..."

Are you siding with the barians was his brief thought. But how can he ask such a question?

"Is that a threat? And if i don't? and still fight in this war...go on tell me. i'll die won't i, but at least i won't be a coward and face my fears head on no matter who i face then! I won't stand by and let them win. Not when i just told you id die saving you and your sister damnit! I don't care about me here! Think of the bigger picture you idiot!" He turns away with a heavy sigh. "Why did i even bother! You are so stubborn!! It amazing me how Yuma became friends with you."
