The central market in Jodhpur Old City, this place is absolutely scorching in the day but somehow these vendors sit out in the sun every day selling Saris to anybody who can brave the sunshine. Weirdly enough once the temperatures start to drop in the evening they pack up and go home. So haven't posted much recently as I haven't wanted to spend all my time hunting for good internet rather than enjoying where we are. The blog hasn't been updated in a while because 'surprise surprise, I haven't had very good internet, also most of the photos i've taken have been on my camera and I haven't had time to sit and upload them onto the laptop and then back onto here, so for this post i'm making do with photos taken from my phone. We're actually in Sri Lanka and have been for 2 weeks, starting in Kalpitya on the beach, where I got ill again, moving on to Anuradhapura, Kandy and then for 3 nights in Haputale surrounded by beautiful tea plantations and mountains.

The 2000 year old Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. It's 103 metres tall and is still a very active place of Buddhist worship.
