gwynlain is so inspired because like y'all can try to pit them against each other as much as you want but the reality is that if Elain got too drunk at a bar after a break up, Gwyn would absolutely be that random DD sober girl in the bathroom who finds her there and helps hold her hair back without even realizing this is her bestie's sister but just because she's That Girl and Elain would be like "wowwww, you're so nice and pretty 🥺🥺 we should totally make out. hahahahaha." and Gwyn would be like "aw you're sweet and pretty too, but you're very drunk." then she'd call Elain a cab, help her in, and give her her number to text when she got home safe and Elain would save it in her phone as something ridiculous like "Beautiful Angel Lady From The Bar 😇💖💪🔥" and text her like fourteen embarrassing texts in a row as soon as she got home. then the next morning, Elain would wake up to find that in her phone without much context and be too mortified to follow up but then one day Nesta invites her to coffee to meet her friends and surely, you see my vision by now?

Thank you to the fellow fans, shippers, and LGBTQIA+ supporters of this blog… silly as it is as a gay girlie I really love how supportive fandoms can be even for ships that don’t exist… this fandom has meant a lot to me; and regardless of who you ship the characters and story have meant a lot to me (and I’m sure a lot to you) throughout their course. For @gwynweek, @freyjas-musings, @amandapearls, and I wanted to depict one of our favorite soft ships for unlikely pairings and star-crossed connections. Gwyn and Elain are survivors in their own respective rights. They're kind, they're fiercely loyal, and they don't let the circumstances they've found themselves in define them. If any two people could also find love and healing together, it would be them.

Feyre: …Please, explain…

Elain: An Amulet… we all eat amulets sometimes. Even when we were kids, remember when you found that nest, we had them for days! You really can’t go wrong; I like the ones with cheese and onions.

Emerie: Nesta, you really should’ve taught them more.
