04.29.25. Alright Substack, let's try again. Just released "What I didn't learn from my parents..." & I'm slowly (& painfully) trying to get used to the fact that I write deeply revealing stuff. And that's okay, I guess?

There's a level of detachment that's required for this sort of thing, which I've had many years to practice, & with time I'm sure it'll bother me less & less.

so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god

You know what I like? I like that on this platform, I can see all of your posts. I like that I can almost always remember what my mutuals’ blogs look like. I like that in some way, we’re all contributing to each others’ blog pages. I like that when you go to my url, you’ll find it full of things I love that aren’t even mine, I just found them. I like that when you stumble upon my account, you’ll find things that you love too. I like that I don’t care if I’m constantly posting original content or not. I like that I can enjoy this platform without any pressure to create or curate, because I follow so many wonderfully inspiring accounts & I want to be decorated by their creativity.

01.19.25. Falling into a morning routine that feels natural, moments of solitude with a book, being kinder to myself, sharing vulnerabilities with the people I care about, filling out the pages of my planner, doing things scared. 2025 so far hasn't been what I expected.

Thinking of releasing my notion budget tracker that I’ve been using. Would anyone be interested?

Okay but do I really want to add 2 classes on top of my full-time job? Theoretically, I can make sense of it, but will I be able to avoid getting burntout in the process?
