"Well papa, I'm going to sleep!" you said as you got up from the couch in the living room.

"And where is my good night hug?" Your dad calls out as he looks towards you with a faux hurt expression on his face.

You laughed to yourself before you turned around and ran into your father's arms with a wide smile on your face.

“Alright, good night." Your dad said as he kissed the top of her head before tightening his hold slightly around her.

Then a thud was heard upstairs.

Walking backwards, your back landed gently onto the bed which caused you to disconnect from the kiss and push yourself back closer to the headrest.
