Meet Faye!

Faye is one of the characters in our thesis film, Jitters. She's a side character, but she's one of the characters I created and love myself. She's the chill, cool but weird classmate who knows all these conspiracy theories and will often come in late to class but somehow manages to snag good marks. However, she has ADHD and will seemingly zone out out of nowhere but her head is actually solving the world's greatest mysteries

This is my first slice of life-ish piece. The first time I attempted to draw an experience instead of my usual go-to pretty girl portraits xD It's during high school when we tend to have this group dependence thing where for some reason, when we see people doing things alone, we immediately think they must be going through something, or are loners, or something along those lines. We never just think maybe they're introverted, maybe they willingly wanted to be by themselves, maybe it's self-care. I wanted to emulate that feeling in this art ^^ Being alone doesn't automatically mean you're lonely, it's sometimes just a good way to savor the little moments in life : )

This artwork is actually a re-do of one of my previous character concepts ^^ I remade the character in a better scene, with more personality and character.
