We are officially off the (.)(.)! 😀 And he is losing his chubbiness very fast 😭 It was very hard for me to wean him off because he was crazy about the milk and every time I told myself “Ok, today is the day and I’m going to stop!” I failed and gave in. He was crying so much, his teeth were coming out and my heart was just broken. I don’t know how I did it but it was getting impossible during the night when he needed to snack 20 times! 😩 I tried bunch of different methods - cold turkey (didn’t work because I was so engorged all the time, had lumps and leaking), pumping out (also didn’t work because the pump doesn’t work as good as the baby and still left me with lumps at the end of pumping)...😩 So I decided to still give it to him and reduce it gradually... 3 times a day , 2 times a day (morning and night), 1 time a day (at night) and 0 times a day (a lots and lots of crying still). And also I had to put myself on the starvation mode for about a week so my body doesn’t have enough nutrition to produce the milk... I have done it before but this case was extremely difficult - boys are boys...😂 5 years of (.)(.) feeding is officially over - I’m happy and sad at the same time. We finally had some family time this weekend! 😀 Camping is perfect these days - social distancing works 100% and kids have so much fun! Can you guess why I’m not here lately?! Yes, my mom left to Russia three days ago and I’m completely wrecked! 🥴 I got so spoiled for the past 8 months - just the fact that I can go to buy groceries by myself or go to the doctors appointment with one kid only made my life so much easier in these crazy times!.. but now it’s back to new normal and I will be out of here for a while until I spare sometime for Instagram. Actually, I have noticed the pattern - the more I’m on the phone, the more I become impatient towards my kids and it’s a struggle to keep it calm. 😔 And then I feel so guilty for these destructive feelings. Solution - don’t get the phone in my hands ... 😳 Now it’s nearly impossible to take a good care of my babies and at the same time share my experience and thoughts on my blog. 😌 I only did it because my mom was actually playing and entertaining the Apache tribe while I playing this social media game. And mom, if you are reading this, I love you so much and I miss you even more. That’s the “beauty” of being on social media... Camping with 4 kids?!!! No toilet, shower or kitchen? Easy! 😄 Well, the bathroom was 3 min away from our cabin but it didn’t bother me at all - we had a great times together with the family! ❤️ My poor husband was working! 😭😭😭 It was totally unplanned - my sister-in-law called me at 8 am after finding out that the weather will be 90F over the next 3 days and told me to get ready for the trip. I was very reluctant thinking “how am I going to get the kids ready for such a short period of time?” but then the ant in my butt would not let me to sit down and I just started throwing things in my suitcase... I try to stay positive during these times... 😌 Even though it’s very hard to keep the kids busy due to multiple restrictions, I push myself to enjoy simple things every day! And I don’t know what happened with my writing skills lately - maybe my brain is wrecked with four little kids 🤷‍♀️ Can’t put two words together and honestly, I have been thinking about what kind of content I should put on my blog. 7 years ago I became a mom of this beautiful girl. She was born in the same day as my maternal grandmother which brings so much meaning to this day... my grandma is not here now but I do celebrate two birthdays reminiscing all precious memories from my childhood till the moment my first daughter was born! It’s been a year! I remember how hard it was to maintain my blog while pregnant and then having a newborn, I almost gave up. Couldn’t find a better pictures for the Father’s Day! I’m so happy to have these two strong men by my side. Who could ever imagine that Russian and Brazilian would ever merge into this beautiful family together?! I would never believe it 11 years ago... My dad has built a very strong foundation in me - it wasn’t easy, but I am who I am now because he thought me how to be determine and confident in order to achieve my goals. This year, when he met my husband for the first time and got to spend some time with him, he was very amazed with his son-in-law - how incredibly hard he works to provide his family, how kind and responsible he is toward his kids, how he treats his daughter (me).
