It's 3:46 and I should be asleep but whatever becauseeeee I just wanna post about how I'm on such an emotional come-up, the best I've been in quite a while ☺️ A lot of it has had to do with some shifting of focus and perspectives, for example:

Putting more thought and energy into people who love and care for me than into those who don't

Study abroad in Japan!! It's happening, I'm leaving next month and this is something I've wanted for so long, since I was young

The fact that I'm almost done with school -- yes, I took a detour, switched from one school to another with unintentional time in between, but I'm about to graduate next spring!!

Other improvements are that I've largely stopped being sad over my ex, I can't say I don't miss old times every now and then, but I've come to terms with the fact that he doesn't value me as a friend like he made it seem after breaking up. And I've stopped wasting time and hope on thinking he'll realize that he threw away a person who genuinely cared about him, and once saw him as a friend.

And the rest of my summer is gonna be pretty eventful leading up to the time that I fly out to Japan, it's been a great summer so far!

Everything isn't perfect for sure, but I'm so happy that things are coming around and I feel myself becoming stronger in who I am. No more strings of depressing posts from me for a while. ❤️
