Shadow is powerful, sure — but he’s a weapon created in a lab, made for control and precision. Sonic? He’s pure instinct, freedom, and unpredictability incarnate. Shadow might be “ultimate” in theory, but Sonic is obvious in what he actually is — a force of nature.

People acting like Shadow automatically wins because of the “Ultimate Life Form” label are missing the heart of what makes Sonic so special: his untamed spirit, his raw potential, and that unbreakable will.
