This remake continues to be a cashgrab insult to the franchise as a whole.. this and the Nine Realms.

You were THERE for the original, you KNOW the purpose of the scene, but to reiterate:

Hiccup knows TOOTHLESS is harmless, but this scene confirms to him that other dragons also are, it drives home the point

It doesn't drag the pacing, it gives a much needed break after the very exciting fast paced sequence that is Test Drive, so the audience can process. That's kinda how scripts and pacing works

Also it kinda, sorta, GIVES HICCUP THE KNOWLEDGE NEEDED TO DEFEAT THE RED DEATH. HE STILL FIRES INTO HER MOUTH IN THE LA BUT HE NEVER LEARNS DRAGONS AREN'T FIREPROOF ON THE INSIDE. HE JUST KINDA, GUESSES, I ASSUME

BUT THIS TWO MINUTE SCENE JUST WOULD'VE BEEN SOOOOO DETRIMENTAL TO THE PACING YEAH, YEAH ABSOLUTELY THE MOVIE IS SO MUCH BETTER WITHOUT IT (sarcasm, just in case)

Had an interesting TADC dream where Jax has a werewolf curse that occurs whenever there's an adventure that takes place at night. (specifically well.. if there's a full moon.) At one point Pomni asks him about it, to which he soon gets anxious and sorta defensive regarding it.

"Do you have any idea how hard it is to deal with this sh** every night? Red moon, blue moon, any kinda moon that's there, I turn into.. that!" (I remember Jax saying something like that in said dream to Pomni) Thankfully Pomni managed to settle him down.

Viv seriously has no room to talk, here.

She shouldn’t be talking so lowly to others who love talking about animation and or are passionate about it.

Even if you don’t understand it, people can still talk and admire animation as an art form.

Also, why act so high and mighty when you've been known to steal and trace other peoples works? And she also cheated her way through art school, and traced animation.

Vivziepop is clearly being vague about this actually really well made and not harsh video about her show with just normal criticism (literally praises her throughout it) and you know what the funniest thing is? Is that the person who made the video is a PROFESSIONAL artist that works in the industry (made professional character designs for multiple companies and brands) and went to Calarts 😭 girl… get a grip 😭
