Tuve el privilegio de conocer, y compartir varias instancias con el Sr José María Figueres @figuerescr , ex-Presidente y candidato a Presidente de la República de Costa Rica. Un caballero con una vocación de servicio que es difícil de encontrar en la política, y una visión clara de lo que su país necesita. Un hombre culto, inteligente, y a quien da gusto escuchar; con un plan bien pensado de desarrollo de quienes más lo necesitan, y del impulso económico que Costa Rica desesperadamente busca para salir adelante. Dios quiera, por el bien de este hermoso país, que este hombre logre su cometido y lleve a Costa Rica a donde debe estar. Quiero agregar, que nadie me solicitó este post, o mis comentarios al respecto. Esta es mi opinión sobre una persona a quien admiro, y basándome en mi propio estudio de su campaña, la de su oponente, y sus planes de trabajo. "Money is the root of all evil" "Rich people are the worst" "Being ambitious is wrong" I still remember those, and many other, comments I used to hear when I was a kid, a teenager, and even a young adult. I remember how bad it made me feel to want more. How wrong it felt to have ambitions of a better life. Today I run a multi-million dollar corporation, have a family to die for, an incredible life, and help tens of thousands of clients from around give world to get their financial situation to the next level. Money helped me do that. I agree that money should not be the goal. That much is clear. And I support it 100%. But making more and more of it, should be one of your top priorities. Because, money, my friend, is a tool you need to accomplish almost any goal you set. And no matter what is the problem you are solving for people, it helps you do it more and more. The world just lost one of its brightest, kindest and most caring souls. I'm sad for Mr Bob Proctor's passing, a feeling that goes hand to hand with my gratitude for the blessing of having had him in our lives. I will be forever grateful for all he, and his teachings, did for me, my wife @issyrodriguez_ and my family. He will continue being source of inspiration for millions, for years to come. Today is a VERY special day. Exactly 7 years ago I saw you for the very first time back in Zambia, at a bungee jumping spot, of all places. Things happen for a reason, they say... and it must be so, since iy was also your late father's birthday. I Like to believe he had something to do with us meeting right there. Also, today marks the day we became husband and wife, back in Uruguay, 4 years ago. SEVEN years since we met, FOUR years married. And now, we are parents. What a blessing. So many things have happened this last year alone! Who would have thought? So many experiences, so many stories to tell our children. Last year I said: "What amazes me is that after all this time, we continue to have an amazing relationship built with friendship above all, love and care, compassion to one another, an unstoppable support for our dreams, and passion." Here, I can see WHY I do things the way I do them; WHY I decided to sacrifice my career in the Air Force over a decade ago looking for a better life; WHY I walked alone so many years, away from family or "friends", who would only want me to stay "safe"; WHY I invested so much, and made so many mistakes along the way; WHY I push every day, working 14-16 hours a day to build my empire; WHY leaving a legacy is so important for me. Because of him, and the generations to come. Eventually, this little fella will be the one leading what took me decades to build. You know who the gentleman in these pictures with me and @issyrodriguez_ is. The famous (and really talented) singer @jencarlosmusic . That was an easy one. But let me tell you something you may not know about him: This is a man who is so much more than a handsome singer with amazing vocals and a great show. I had the privilege to spend several hours with Jencarlos speaking of, well... everything (from building foundations, to movie productions all the way to crypto investments). And, man, I was blown away! Such a great mind with an immense passion for helping people, discussing really deep subjects and, with so, so, so many ideas...
