Losing people is so heartbreaking. How cruel is it that suddenly you have all these leftover memories and information of a person but not them.
You read a book you think they'll like but they're not in your life anymore for you to recommend it to them, you buy their favourite flowers but they aren't there to recieve them, it's their mom's birthday but you can't wish them, you're eating their favourite flavour of icecream but not with them.
It feels as though every moment that you once treasured is now forever incomplete.

The more I grow, the more I realise that the only true purpose we have on this planet is to love others and let others love us

My friend and I were having a conversation about a project she wanted to take up but was too afraid to and this is how it went:
"But what if it doesn't work out?"
" Well, there's growth in victory and there's growth in failure. I think at the end of the day you'll know more than you know now. And that's pretty amazing if you ask me"
And that's probably one of best pieces of advice I've ever given

The photos on my wall stare at me knowing that I'm such a slave to nostalgia. The overflowing gallery on my phone and a cloud storage that is never enough, also knows it all too well.
I will hold on to these memories till my deathbed. Knowing full well that I began grieving them even before the moment had passed.

There's something about women. Some so deep and overwhelming.
How does your soft heart encompass so much love and rage at the same time, my little girl? How do you hold the world's weight on your shoulders and your life's hope in your heart, and still find the strength to fight the war you were never trained for?
Perhaps, this exactly is womanhood?

Growing up surviving is a weird feeling. Because one day you'll get to live and you'll get to rediscover who you really are and what you really want all over again. Which can be an absolutely terrifying experience but also an extraordinary experience.
You'll be okay anyway. The time will pass anyway. The sun will rise anyway
Because what is more human than to grow and evolve into versions of yourself you'd previously never felt?

There’s no such thing as work-life balance for neurodivergent & chronically ill people.
This is because everything in my life requires work:
maintaining friendships
keeping up with my hygiene
managing bills
making money
remembering my basic needs
sleeping regularly
outputting creatively
All requires some aspect of work for me.
And when everything in your life requires work, your balance goes out the window.
If you're neurodivergent and overwhelmed — I see you.
If you're chronically ill and overwhelmed — I see you.
You're not dysfunctional.
You're not incapable.
You're doing your best.

There has always been a longing in me. A longing for something beautiful, something that feels like how I believe love should feel like. I don't know when this will end, but I know that for as long as I have hope, there will be yearning; For as long as there is yearning, there will be hope.

Don't stop being enthusiastic!!
No matter who asks you to calm down. Please bring the light. Bring all your joy and all the love you have for what you do. You don't have to dim your light because the world lacks passion. Your heart and your efforts matters.
