Flower Crowns - why everyone should have them,

So I had this recent obsession on a certain TYer (Gee, I wonder who!) and they mentioned Flower Crowns.

I'm they type of girl who's seriously late on the trend so I have no fudging idea what Flower Crowns mean and if it's just another fad that I missed out on, but let me tell you what Flower Crowns mean to me:

So, after seeing loads of super ordinary samples, I decided to make one of my own. One hour later, I had five neatly arranged peach-and-dusty-rose-colored flower crown-- actually, it's more of a head band now, but none the less, it was MY Flower Crown and after immediately putting it on my head, I just felt happy.

No really, as if all the crap I've had the past week didn't matter. I was in such a good mood that I didn't even care if some bad news was on my way, I was unfazed. I usually commute on my way to work and as expected, I wore the Flower Crown-Band. People were staring and I wasn't doing it on an attention-grabbing kind of way (I swear I wasn't) I just wanted to wear it because I wanted to be happy.... and I was glad to know that a few children looked at my head in shock, in illicit wonder and un-repressed joy as seeing something that only princesses in their fairy tales books only had.

It felt wonderful and I had fun. But getting to the office was much fun.

Everyone loved it and took turns taken selfies of it and I loved it spread joy to everyone, even if it wasn't on my head.

TL;DR The Flower Crown made me happy and I wish suddenly everyone has their own just so they could understand how I felt.
