Unfamiliar with a series? As a crossover fic between two different fandoms (BNHA / Undertale), there exists an overlap between readers who aren't familiar with either series. And that's okay! All kinds of readers are more than welcome.

Want to learn more about BNHA? (Coming soon!) Disclaimer: As a general rule, it is not necessary to read the full guides in order to understand the main story. This is for those who want a deeper understanding of the lore. A brief summary:

The story revolves around two central characters, Bakugo Katsuki (from BNHA/My Hero Academia) and Chara (from Undertale). However, it's mostly Bakugo Katsuki-centric. It features multiple POVs, including Midoriya Izuku.

This AU is set within the BNHA universe, with the events of Undertale slightly altered to fit within BNHA's canon. In the beginning, the main story will follow BNHA's canon timeline. However, the plot will deviate from canon and the timelines will diverge.

As the story continues, alternate changes will be documented and updated as needed.

The following is an exerpt from Chapter 8, titled "memory":

The first ever recorded example in human history of Quirk emergence occurred many, many years ago, in China, when a newborn baby was born glowing a brilliant, golden light. Thinking it may have been some mysterious disease, scientists had originally believed meta abilities came from a new gene that wasn’t originally “human” – labelling those with unexplainable power as “another species.” (...) With the introduction of “mutant-type” meta abilities, there existed generations of people who believed such things to be true. Those, who learned of war. Violence. Those who once told their children stories at bedtime, to warn them away from the encroaching darkness, the mountain and the woods. Some, called their abilities “sorcery”. Magic. (“Those who climb the mountain may never return.”) Some… called them “monsters”.

Less than roughly a couple centuries ago, the events of Undertale took place within the BNHA universe. (The following links contain Undertale spoilers.)

It is heavily implied, (and indicated through the tags), that Frisk has completed the Genocide route at least once, and had completed the Soulless Pacifist route before the events of the main story take place.

In this AU, there is no "Player". Only Frisk, and Chara.
