Kilauea was erupting big time the day before and day after we were there. this is as much action as we saw. did not see molten lava, still on the bucket list..

Lava Lava Beach Club was great. I got an Ube cocktail and then chicken pasta dish

went to the big island for just over 24 hours, did a big lap of the island and hoped to see Kilauea erupting. Picked the cheapest rental car and they gave us a Challenger RT. First stop was dinner at Lava Lava Beach Club

The Bus is the name of the bus system in Honolulu. amazing

Public transportation in Honolulu is amazing. The Skyline Rail only had part 1 open when I visited, but I took a bus out there to ride it. It was a treat. Uses the same Holocard tap to pay system as the bus (with automatic fare capping!) and is fully automated trains and doors.

I walked by this car and it confused me. It looks like a C4 with C5 body pieces. had to snap a pic.

stopped at Cafe Lapin for a coffee and delicious eclair. interior design was cute. it is on the 3rd floor with a balcony.
