Sorry for disappearing shortly after I claimed I had a Sims hyperfixation. That quickly turned into a The Witcher 3 hyperfixation, and then life went to shit (but things are a lot better now).

Anyway, I made the Slept In Late and Slept In Later pyjamas by the now-retired nrjsims into separate bottoms using @deedee-sims' meshes. They're available for CU-EU, and categorised as Pyjamas only. They are repositoried to a texture file for each set.

Since I never posted about it here — at the start of the year I shared two pairs of high-waisted jeans at Garden of Shadows, for the Unfinished Business & Four Seasons theme.

Hey, I made a thing. This is an edit of @julietoon-ts2's short bathrobe, with Maxis hands and feet and a few small changes to the bathrobe. AF only, with both a fatmorph and pregmorph. It is categorised as Pyjamas only.

There are three different versions available:

Custom

This version uses textures created by Maxis and three other creators, @keoni-chan (x), @executables-sims (x), and @remisims (x). Here is the swatch (I've also included it in the ZIP file).

Repo'd

This version has three recolours, with their textures repositoried to the Maxis version (or any texture-only default replacement you have installed).

Default replacement (mesh only)

This version is, you guessed it, a mesh-only default replacement of afbodybathrobe. It should be compatible with any texture-only default replacement.

Some cardigans for our female Sims, because… the mesh is cute! :D I named it “spring cardigan”, even though not all recolors have “spring vibe” to them:P I just felt like making some with flowers, but I also needed some variety for colors, so there’s that:) Beige cardigan has some “borrowed” flower textures from EAxis EP11 Sweater French texture, black one uses a design originally made by @nuagelle. Rest of patterns are probably from Freepik:) Some recolors have patterned pockets, some not, just a crazy mix of stuff :P All cardigans have a subtle texture added too:) This top is for teens, adults and elder female Sims, 10 recolors, repo’d or standalone files, meshes by @hemfbg with age conversions by @linasims2 included, along with preview and swatch pictures. Hi pheeb! I see you sent this in January 😬 Thank you for thinking of me. I've been doing a lot better lately than I was last year. I started antidepressants and therapy a few months ago, and I also recently finished uni (fingers crossed I passed everything so I can graduate 🤞). Anyway, I've been much more motivated to spend time on the Sims lately, and more capable of using social media like tumblr.

Does The Sims 2 GMDC Importer/Exporter for Blender 2.80+ actually work most of the time or am I just a big dumb idiot? I can't get it to export any GMDC with rigging data. I keep getting the following error:

Preparing geometry… Error! No inverse transforms. (scene["gmdc_inverse_transforms"] is not defined.)

I see that other creators seem to use this tool just fine, so I'm wondering if any of you have encountered this issue before and know how to fix it.

To clarify, no malice is intended at the creator of this tool, I'm just trying to figure out if the issue I'm having is my fault or if I should be submitting a bug report. (I'm leaning towards the former.)

I wasn’t lying when I said I’ve been writing up a bunch of Kopper updates so that I can justify playing even more. The Kopper Legacy update 4.07 (parts one and two) are up now! Sims get their uni makeovers, a couple of other Sims get some surprising re-styles, a fan favourite makes a return appearance, and everyone swaps some Winter’s Day gifts.

Thank you @phoebe-twiddle and @aondaneedles for sending me these! Unfortunately I lack multiple original sims so I can only answer this once. Let me tell you five four facts about my legacy founder, Georgie Amandine.

Fact #1: Her middle name is Jean.

Fact #2: I used one of those sim face randomiser methods to create her. This is what she looked like before the normalisation process—

—hence her hooded eyes, plump lips and similarly plump nose.

Fact #3: Before the events of the legacy challenge, Georgie came from very little. She wanted to make her mark on the world: start a family and see it prosper. Thus The Amandine Legacy was born.

Fact #4: Georgie has not yet reached elderhood in my game, though she is close to it.

I shared a small something at Garden of Shadows for the Smells Like Teen Spirit & Golden Anniversary theme:  a TF conversion of @miniculesim’s 4t2 Clumsyalien Enver Cardigan.

This was a suggestion left by @enchantedglow on this post, so, uh, congrats!  I wanted to make more things for y’all but I haven’t had a lot of time for the Sims since my Uni semester started :(

The Flynn-Hayden Household

Finally I have time to play the fifth household in Coldwater, Charles Flynn and Neve Hayden. Keep reading for Details and Download links!

First of all, their skins. It’s this skin here by @noodlesims who says they were made for personal use so that’s likely why it says Lilith and not noodlesims but I wanted to make sure that was clear.

Second, their clothes are default replacements. Get Neve's custom here and Charles' custom here.

Charles contains content from @noodlesims @digisims2 and @mystic-hysteria and he's not packaged with eyebrows so they're probably poppet defaults if I had to guess. Just noticed that.

Neve contains content from @poppet-sims @noodlesims @digisims2 @dreadpirate and @hemfbg

Both downloads come with a clean installer screenshot, but I didn’t feel like crowding up this post with them.

In Coldwater he's a Pleasure/Popularity Taurus who wants to have 50 Dream Dates and has a Nature hobby. He owns Coldwater's park and his favorite color is green.

She's a Romance/Popularity Libra who wants to have 20 Lovers and has an Arts&Crafts hobby. She owns the clothing store.

Oh, and when I went in-game for that picture, this is what was attempted before I stopped it...so that's what kind of sims these are. Not even in existence for 5 sim minutes...

What’s a tacky casino without tacky formal wear for the occasion??

Here’s 10 outfits - 7 for AF & 3 for AM - Using EAxis meshes from the Base Game, Celebration Stuff, and Glamour Life Stuff. Pretty much entirely leopard patterned, but of course there’s sparkly silver & gold mixed in there too. They’re enabled for both Everyday & Formal.

The EAxis meshes I used are afbodydresshalterstraps, afbodydressshortfishtail, afbodydressweddinghourglass, and ambodyclosedcoatlongpants. So if you have defaults for those outfits then these will probably look weird :P

Also you can kinda see the leopard pattern extending to the AM undershirt sleeve cuff on the last picture. I fixed that after noticing it in the picture, so the download version has normal looking cuffs.

Gimme suggestions for teen/elder clothing conversions or whatever

I want to make something (things?) for the Smells Like Teen Spirit & Golden Anniversary theme at Garden of Shadows, but I don't know what to make.

So, do you have any suggestions? (not requests!) I can do teen/elder clothing conversions, shoeswaps, top-only dresses, defaults, etc. Keep in mind that it must be for teen and/or elder sims, and I reserve the right to read every suggestion and say "nah" to each :)

If you do have a suggestion, reply to this post, send me an ask, etc., preferably with a link to whatever I need to download to get it done 👍
