MALCOLM AND MARIE - why you can't connect with Malcolm or Marie | Cloudy TV MALCOLM AND MARIE is a new Netflix movie, directed by Sam Levinson and starring John David Washington and Zendaya. It's a movie about a couple and one night of some serious ups and downs. I thought it had a solid foundation and had interesting themes and ideas - but it really failed to execute and make me connect with the characters, and in the end it really just felt like the characters complaining and whining rather than a genuine argument and conversation.

Minari directed by Lee Isaac Chung is a film about a Korean American family who move to Arkansas hoping to grow Korean veggies on their farm and make it big. It's a snap shot of their life over their first year there, full of excitement but also full of struggle. It stars Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), Han Ye-ri, Your Yuh-jung, Alan S. Kim, Noel Cho and Will Patton.
