hi hero my friend hero. i love your art and wanted to ask you what thing(s)) you think most influenced your art style. like i rly enjoy your shapes and am curious if there was a deliberate development there

tbh when i think of things that influenced my art i think abt 2000s/early 2010s anime the most... specifically pokemon bcuz i grew up with it and its also when/what i started drawing as a kid. i also think the few years i was obsessed w megaman had a Huge influence on my style too. (in fact i still rly Rly like a lot of my old megaman sketches and feel like some of them are some of my best lol)
it wasn't one i grew up with but i think the battle network/nt warrior anime is a really great example of the kind of style i was influenced by and still love and appreciate. funnily enough, some of the artists i was rly inspired by from megaman also worked on pokemon stuff, like hitoshi ariga :]...
nowadays its kind of hard to pinpoint since i tend to study and draw lots of inspiration from many many different artists, but i think they all still fall into the category of that very stylized and cute/anime kind of look. a lot of media thats heavily stylized and have cute and fun graphics still grab my attention and inspire me a lot lol.. (like hat and bloons)
also yeees shapes 👀... i think i use squares the most tbh, i rly like those Angles and curves

They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.
