finding out that they used a different voice actor for prowler miles at the end of atsv was like an even bigger plot twist than that ending.

one thing that's been killing me since seeing spiderverse -- are ALL the spider people who are central to this story not anomalies ??? miles is obviously explored in the movie, but like. peter b. has his MJ and a daughter still, when every spidermans MJ dies. in a different universe, hobie is also the prowler, same as miles. we watched pavitr's canon event not happen. gwen is gwen stacy, who is also always supposed to become spiderman's girlfriend, and yet she's spiderwoman. they all have massive canon divergences. was miguel collecting spiderpeople with canon divergences? it sure seems like it.

i love how atsv features a vibrant array of characters from diverse cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds. You can tell Miles is Afro Latino, you can tell Pavitr is Indian by the simple cultural aspects they show. You can also tell Gwen is white cuz she has her fuckin shoes on people's bed.
