Mornings with Donghyuck

Note: I haven’t written anything in literal YEARS so I hope this is okay!!

His breath kissed the nape of my neck as he let out a contented sigh. His soft curls tickle the brim of my nose as he shifts against my body, and lets out another contented sigh. I could feel his fingers curl around the fabric of my shirt, pulling me further into his embrace and I willingly melt into his warm embrace.

A stifled giggle.

And then another.

“Hyuck, will you stop that” I deadpan, pushing at his shoulders which only makes him laugh harder. He lets out a whine, puckering his lips and pulling me against his chest.

“Awe, don’t be like that my love” He murmurs softly, voice honeyed. He nuzzles his face into the nape of my neck again, letting out a contented sigh. His lips latch onto my bare skin, pressing soft, open-mouthed kisses against it. His lips were so soft, like butter melting against my skin. My fingers run through those soft curls on his head, smooth and deliberate, like a lullaby in motion.

“Mmmmm love you” He murmurs, pressing a gentle kiss against my collarbone.

“Love you too” I respond, still running my fingers through his velvet-like curls. I feel the way his breath slows. His head falls backwards slightly, revealing his sun-kissed skin. My eyes glaze over each mole that paints his skin, and I watch the way his eyelashes brush against his cheeks softly.

He looked so content, and that notion soothed me.
