Might be imagining things, but have you noticed how he first leans into the embrace, his face onto Will's shoulder?

I mean, he could've pulled Will closer first, without moving an inch. An act of power and having control over Will in his hands. But HE LEANED FIRST.

Maybe, only maybe, he NEEDED this embrace for comfort. It wasn't a terrifying gesture, it was meant for HIM, not Will. The embrace he imagined he'd get from Will, if they had run away together. The one that could've been a fresh start but it turned into a farewell.

How about we focus on the thousands of species that are critically endangered rather than bringing back an already extinct species.

Yes, this is a great achievement for science, but why don’t we focus this money and time into coming up with conversations tactics to protect the plants and animals we still have????

Like genuinely its heartbreaking to scroll through the list of endangered species and know that barely any effort is being put into protecting them.

Our futures rely around these plants and animals. Even the smallest thing such as an isopod or a butterfly, they make a huge difference.

Almost 50% of the cause of endangered ocean life is due to climate change…Guess who is responsible for that? Humans! We are!

Yet we’re stuck on bringing back the Dire Wolf.

There’s been an increase in seal and sea lion deaths due to algae blooms. Algae blooms are caused by increased water temperatures.

Coral bleaching is occurring due to warming waters. Coral reefs are home to almost 30% of all marine life. Further more, they’re a vital asset in carbon cycling. A lot of people think that trees are the main source of oxygen…But the ocean produces more oxygen than trees and all other land plants combined!

50 million dollars…That’s how much money is being funded towards the protection and growth of coral.

Can you guess how much funding went into bringing back the Dire Wolf?

435 million dollars.

$435,000,000.00

Four hundred and thirty five MILLION dollars.

The last two Northern White Rhinos…only females left. 100 million dollars.

So the question is; why is all this money being pushed towards a project that would bring back an ALREADY EXTINCT animal when there are so many more that this money could be going to?

Human greed is no joke. Apparently bringing back an animal is more sought after and impressive than saving an animal from complete extinction.

To Hannibal, cannibalism was a reach for power. He was the most powerful when he was eating those below him.

Okay, okay, I’ll admit it…

Will Graham was never and would never be a father to Abigail.

I don’t even believe that he wanted to be.

He killed Abigail’s father, forcing him to feel somewhat responsible for the girls well being, but he didn’t actually consider the fact of a fatherly relationship until he spoke to Hannibal:

H: “Feeling paternal Will?”

W: “Aren’t you?”

H: “Yes.”

And then all Will does is nod, like it’s almost an afterthought, like he was just agreeing with what Hannibal had to say.

His relationship with Abigail was forced. Every time they interacted it was tense, uncomfortable. Abigail saw Hannibal more of a father than she did Will. But in Will’s visions, he always saw them having the perfect relationship, teaching her how to fish, running off to Italy to find Hannibal…But that wasn’t his true reality.

Hannibal was the one to actually form a bond with Abigail, past the trauma bonding from the murder of Garret Jacob Hobbs. But Hannibal didn’t want to be her father either, he just used her as and extension to get closer to Will.

Even if the three of them ran off to Italy like Hannibal had planned, I believe that Abigail wouldn’t have stuck around. They never would’ve been the happy family I see these edits and fics about, it’s just not possible.

Can we talk about the sexism that occurs in the Hannibal fandom.

A lot of haters of the series say that the sexism is rooted in the show itself, which it’s not. The show had no themes of sexism except for the fact that every female character deserved better. Chiyoh, Molly, Margot, Abigail, Alana, Beverly.

The sexism is rooted in the fandom. I see posts glorifying the male characters and then pointing out the flaws of the female characters and ridiculing them. (Hating one female character is one thing. But hating ALL OF THEM???🤨🤨🤨)

Like Hannibal is literally a cannibalistic serial killer who manipulates people, yet you’re hating on Chiyoh who was a victim of his manipulation and saying that she was dumb for staying in that castle for so long. I’m just so deeply confused.
