About Bombs
Welcome to the welterweight division. Marcos Maidana did not come to play as he showered left hooks, overhand rights, and numerous power shots on Adrien Broner winning a unanimous decision, and taking the welterweight WBA title.

Adonis Stevenson Adonis “Superman” Stevenson (23-1) is one to watch. If you haven’t seen him in action now’s the time to check his highlights. Adonis is a finisher with freakish power and his last four fights showed why he is top three in the division. He annihilated Chad Dawson in the first round with one punch, and displayed a crowd-pleasing performance before finishing Travois Cloud in the sixth. Highly ranked Tony Bellew also got a taste of the Superman’s left hand; he was fishmeat in the sixth round. Stevenson is the WBC Champion, and he has super fights ahead of him. A fight with Bernard Hopkins the IBF Champion (54-6-2) will be huge in Canada and that’s a fight fans want to see. But you have Sergey Kovalev who is the WBO Champion (22-0-1) and this guy can fight. Sergey Kovalev has fought over 200 amateur battles and now is undefeated as a pro. He is brutally powerful with amazing boxing skills; his hands do all the talking. Sergey would be more of a risk fight for Stevenson it would make sense to match them up now, but would the money be right for the Superman? Adonis sees big fights and ton of cash especially if he gives what his fans want. A fight with B Hop or Carl Froch should be next. Those two fights make a lot of sense dollar wise and it should be exciting to watch. I my self would anticipate both fight if they were to be signed, but how can you sleep on Bernard Hopkins, he’s a champion for a reason.

Ring Kings
Great to see vintage Manny Pacquiao back in the ring to display speed, footwork, and tremendous punching power versus a game Brandon Rios. Manny is now right back in the mix of things, and back in the Floyd Mayweather sweepstakes. The win of course places him runner up alongside fighters like Amir Khan, Tim Bradley, and Devon Alexander. Let’s not forget that Floyd also fights at Junior Middleweight 154 pounds, but enters the ring around 150, 151 pounds, so a catch weight bout wouldn’t even be an issue. All roads do lead to Floyd Mayweather, and a clash with Manny Pacquiao is what makes sense for boxing. The sport is far from dead and Manny’s win gave us hope that 2014 may possibly have the Money versus Pacman fight.
2014 will be an interesting year of boxing and fight fans are anticipation an action pack year just like the year we’re in. 2013 has been a fun year with fight of the year fights, and the year is far from over. Coming up for these finial weeks take a look at can’t miss fights that's worth watching.

Tailor Made
I predict an easy fight for Manny Pacquiao. Yes easy. This bout versus Brandon Rios (31-1-1) can easily place Pacman back into the Floyd sweepstakes.
Money Mayweather versus Pacman is a must make fight true boxing fans want to see. Pacquiao is far from finished. He was robbed versus Tim Bradley and dominated the fight versus Marquez before being knocked out cold. Brandon Rios’s style is tailor made for Manny in many ways one, Rios is an action pack fighter who loves to exchange second, he gives up his defense to land heavy shots were he’s most effective but lacks the footwork to be elusive or defensive. Rios will be giving up to much of his face while engaging, and I won’t be surprise if the fight turns out like the PAC vs Hatton fight but in the later rounds.
Rios is a great fighter but Manny will outbox and pick him apart. Look for the TKO in the later rounds but before the tenth.
