If you're wondering about Danya's (Ukraine's lead singer) reaction to qualifying and him going off-screen, he actually ran to hug Red Sebastian (Belgium).

So no, he wasn't being "arrogant" or "pissy," he was probably overwhelmed by the result and at the same time feeling empathy for all the contestants that didn't qualify.

a cosplay photo so old it was taken on actual film (which explains the streaks from my scanner) and the con we were at doesn’t even exist anymore. it was around 13 years ago actually now that I think about it.
