i think you’ve answered this but i can’t for the life of me find it for some reason, but what mythosi do all the ROs prefer/like the most? and as an add on, what mythosi scares the ROs the most?

Ya know what I know for a fact I've received an ask like this but I don't remember if I ever posted the answer or not???

Anywho--

Vethna: I would say their favorite is probably either a werewolf or gorgon. They just think werewolves are cute and cuddly, and their house emblem is a snake, so having a gorgon as their bodyguard is kinda neat aesthetic-wise to them.

As for what they fear-- it would be demon MCs. They're scared of being controlled mentally/emotionally, which is something only demons can do.

Nikke: Nikke would like a gorgon MC the most just because... I mean... he's also a gorgon so there's a lot of stuff to relate about (like being freezing at random moments, or shedding, or the taste of your own venom being shit, etc.) He'd also like a phoenix MC too though, because they're warm and he likes having someone he can stand near whenever he's freezing.

As for fear, he's terrified for werewolf commanders. A.) Werewolves and gorgons don't have the best relationship in Vrithka, so he's a little biased in those regards, and B.) Werewolves are cannibalistic-- as in, they'll eat humans, mythosi, and other werewolves... which is also horrifying to Nikke. Some gorgons might eat humans, but cannibalism is a big taboo.

Jost: Jost doesn't really prefer any mythosi type, to be honest. However, I will say she probably has a fascination with werewolves for the exact same reasons Nikke is afraid of them. They eat people and can enter a pageful frenzy... that's pretty cool.

(... though she's also more scared of werewolves than any other mythosi type too--)

Amilia: I think Amilia's favorite would probably be a werewolf. She likes animals, so having a friend/partner who can spontaneously turn into a furry friend that you can cuddle with is pretty cool.

She's a little unnerved by phoenix commanders, however, and when they use their fire powers she might get a little skittish. She's not purposely biased, tho, nor will she be particularly more scared upon first meeting them just because they're a phoenix.

Syfyn: Syfyn would think all of them are cool except gorgon. She doesn't dislike gorgons, they just don't stand out at all to her. She likes demons and phoenix commanders since they can fly with each other, which is fun, but she also likes werewolves since she can rough house with them and not worry about hurting them.

She's nor particularly scared of any mythosi type.

Sabir: Similar to Vethna, he'd think the gorgon is cool since he's the Silven Viper and having a gorgon body guard is... very fitting. Otherwise, he might think having a demon around is pretty useful, especially when it comes to politics. He might get a little salty that a demon commander can just read people without any effort though, especially since he's spent his entire life learning how to do so and can still possibly mess up due to human error.

Otherwise, he's not particularly scared of any specific type, though he is hyper-aware of the strength werewolf commanders have.

Freedom: They really don't care. If the commander was older, they might prefer demon/phoenix commanders more since they could be 1000+ years old, which would make them a bit more mature-- so Freedom would respect them more as a living thing since they're immortal and would probably have a better understanding of Freedom's philosophy and worldview.

Otherwise, they don't fear anything.

Matt has been working hard for ages now, in what feels typical of your supposed days off. He’s been emailing lecturers and researchers in the hopes that he would be able to get you all some good interview candidates all morning, but there’s nothing he can really do when people aren’t reply. He’s just getting more and more frustrated, leaving you to wait around as he glares at the screen of his laptop. You don’t think he’s winning.

You’ve been laying in bed and half working yourself, but it’s your day off and you’d intended to spend it with him. Properly, not just in name only.

You stand up slowly, draping your arms around his broad shoulders and kissing his lightly stubbled jaw. You’ve given him the morning to work on the channel but now you want the attention diverted to you instead, as you were promised.

He tilts his head towards you on instinct, letting you press a kiss to his lips which he returns gladly, but you can tell his head is elsewhere. He’s otherwise distracted and returns to typing as soon as you’re parted, his firm lips narrowing as he focuses back onto his keyboard again.

“I’m trying to be distracting,” you say, letting your hands wander over his shirt and feel the warmth of his chest. You lean in and kiss behind his ear, letting your nose sink into his still slightly damp hair.

“You’re succeeding with that,” he grumbles and you sigh, standing up straight and away from him.

“Alright then, shall I go?” you sigh and he turns in his chair, finally properly looking at you.

“Give me half an hour?” he offers, trying to smile apologetically. You nod, happy you’ve reached something of a compromise before leaning in to kiss him again, smiling when his lips press against yours again.
