Hello! I’m not sure if you answered this, but what are the requirements for Matt to not say that it was a mistake after the kiss? I swear I tried almost everything but still the same result. Is it because I’m playing a male MC?
(I love the game so far btw!! It’s so nice to get a slice-of-life if once in a while. I can’t wait to see what more you have in a store for us <3)
You've hit the nail on the head, if you're playing a non-female MC then you get the response where he says it's a mistake. As I've said before, Matt struggles with the idea of being any kind of queer and this is the first indication of what will be further branching between the genders in his route.

🎁 What would be the perfect gift to buy your OC? What would be the worst gift? Are they themselves any good at gifting things or are they really indescisive? How do they wrap their presents? For the ROs!!
Matt is someone who gives and likes to receive functional gifts where possible. He doesn't want a gift just for the sake of it and won't give one just for the sake of it either. His things are entirely adequately wrapped but they will not be neat.
Eve does quite like to receive gifts but she's someone who would prefer to receive things she's requested, whether that's books or specific clothes or something similar. Books are her default gift for people and they will be very well wrapped. A card along with the gift will always be beautiful, picked very specifically.
Alex is a great gifter and receiver. They pick things up when they see them for people they love and will always gift many small things. Anything that is a thoughtful gift is perfect for them. Wrapping is often haphazard, clearly done at the last minute. They have been known to wrap with tissue paper and put everything in a colourful bag.
Jordan is an indecisive but great gifter. Everything they gift will be extremely thought out and will be the best thing they've been able to find. They prefer to receive experiences rather than items in return and like to have experiences they can share with the gifter, usually because they don't have lots of space to store their own things. Their wrapping skills are entirely average.
Char loves to receive gifts but isn't a great gifter, mostly because he isn't great at remembering to buy things for certain dates. A good gift for them would be some nice coffee, a patch or something else that you like and would like to share with them. They wrap badly, roughly and often on the way to an event.
Bo-yeon is not a gift-giver for no reason and doesn't love receiving gifts for nothing either. A nice quality food/bottle of wine is the safest food to gift xem. People xe cares about will always receive a gift on the relevant occasions and they will be thoughtful but not overly extravagant unless specifically requested. The wrapping is flawless, xe's one of those people who can wrap cylinders and bottles perfectly.

Wonka (2023)
This is a Movie Health Community evaluation. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies and does not reflect the quality of the film itself. The information presented here has not been reviewed by any medical professionals.
Wonka has a few instances of strobe effects that are very sudden and severe, but also very brief, never lasting more than a second or two. One of these involves a piece of machinery moments after the end of a flashback that introduces a parent. Another flashback has some severe lightning-related strobes.
All of the camera work is very smooth in this film, but there are moments of extreme heights, flying, and spinning, none of which last very long.
Flashing Lights: 7/10. Motion Sickness: 4/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: One person makes gagging noises at every mention of a specific word, and briefly comments "I've been sick in my mouth" after one of these incidents.

Wonka (2023) Review
Tumblr media
Anyone doubting Chalamet's singing abilities need look no further than his Tiny Horse skit on SNL from 2 years ago. All I'll say is you're welcome!
Plot: With dreams of opening a shop in a city renowned for its chocolate, a young and poor Willy Wonka discovers that the industry is run by a cartel of greedy chocolatiers.
Everyone scratched their heads upon the announcement that young Hollywood heartthrob Timothee Chalament was cast as the famous Roald Dahl chocolatier. Then when the trailer was released it did not instill much confidence either. Something was jarring about witnessing the usually brooding and stoic Dune/Call Me by Your Name actor acting quirky and silly. Comparisons to Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp were of course inevitable as this is the third attempt at adapting Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory children's book, so would Chalamet simply be attempting to portray a cheap knock-off of his predecessors, and what if Timmy simply lacks the Whimsy to play the silly little guy?
Turns out we had nothing to worry about, especially as we seem to have all forgotten that Wonka's directed by Paul King. You know, the guy behind those sweet Paddington films. Those movies are simply the most delightful and innocently sweet little things, featuring universal themes of kindness and embracing new things, featuring genuine laughs, moments that could make you cry, and an overall homage to recent and classic films. Less one forgets that Paddington 2 also holds the endorsement of no other than Nicolas Cage within The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent which goes out of its way to name-drop Paddington 2 and turns it into a running gag that helps members of the cast bond. With Wonka Paul King's magic feels right at home, as he delivers a warm old-fashioned musical extravaganza, that has the innocence and silliness of the Paddington films, mixed with the darker undertones from the Roald Dahl's classic.
Speaking of the musical aspect, the songs in this film are actually really lovely. Naturally, you have the returning remixes of 'Oompa Loompa' and 'Pure Imagination', but the new tracks are truly delightful, with Timothee Chalamet's singing on point, and the melodies very old-school, basking in their simplicity yet accompanying the capriciousness of the movie perfectly. The production design is great, with lots of colours that pop that should provide enough visual candy for the kids going to the movies this holiday season. The costumes also stood out, and I loved how Wonka's suit was an amalgamation of Wilder's and Depp's outfits. What shocks me is that the costume designer here Limmy Hemming is the same one behind Nolan's The Dark Knight. Such different looks, but then again if you change Willy's jacket from red to purple there are similarities to the Joker outfit...
In regards to Chalamet's Wonka - he's solid. Would a different actor maybe have been a better choice? Probably, however, Timothee manages to deliver a high level of quirk through his enunciation and movements, with his Wonka innocent to a fault, and morally pure. The supporting cast is full of comedians who take turns stealing scenes. Hugh Grant's Oompa Loompa is an uncanny highlight that takes a while to appear and is absolutely worth the wait. Paterson Joseph excels at playing a full-on pantomime villain complimented by Matt Lucas and Matthew Baynton to make for a delightfully evil trio. An entertaining pairing of Olivia Colman and Tom Davis results for an awkward yet at times hilarious double-act, and amusing yet under-used turns from Keegan Michael-Key and Rowan Atkinson leave you wanting more.
Wonka is an easily digestible and polished family movie for the holiday season that is a rare example of a prequel that justifies its existence. I would say that the comedy doesn't always land and felt as if Paul King and the team were held a bit back with how absurd they were willing to go. I don't know, it feels like putting Mr. Bean and a runaway giraffe together in a church could have led to wilder results than what we are ultimately given. Maybe it's remembering Tim Burton's brand of humour that felt more satirical than this fairly tame Wonka. I'm aware many audiences have mixed opinions on the Tim Burton Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, however myself and my fiancee watched it a few months back and found it to be absolutely hilarious! Also, Christopher Lee as a despicable angry dentist who hates chocolate was just *chef's kiss*. As for Wonka? Well, everyone needs a little willy in their life... I'm of course talking about the movie and nothing else!
Overall score: 7/10

🎥 "Wonka"🍫
Yesterday I watched Wonka at my local cinema and I loved every second of it! 🌟🍭🍫
This film takes us on a whimsical journey into the life of the enigmatic Willy Wonka. Timothée Chalamet embodies the role of Wonka with charm and quirkiness, while the supporting cast including Matt Lucas, Matthew Baynton, Calah Lane, Rowan Atkinson and Hugh Grant adds layers of flavor to this cinematic confection.🌈 The film is a visual feast! The candy landscapes, whimsical inventions, and vibrant colors transport you to a world that's equal parts sweet and surreal.🎶
Loved the songs as they were both hearing and quirky aome aonga i was singing on repeat amd there were some references to the original film starring Gene Wilder.
If you haven't seen it i would totally recommend it!

~April's Books Reviewed~
April was significantly better than March, but I'm still definitely taking a little longer than standard to get through books. That being said, all the books I did read this month I highly enjoyed!
Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz
(546 pages)
This was a lovely way to start off the month. The format was a little hard to get into at first, but once I got in the way of it, I found the concept of a murder mystery book within another murder mystery interesting. The story was simple to follow and the characters compelling enough to keep reading about, if a little predictable at times. There were also perhaps slightly too many characters, certainly at the start. It felt that a lot of the mystery of the murder mystery came down to my inability to keep track of the characters at points! However, overall I did really enjoy this book, it was a very gentle reintroduction to reading after the failure of March and I would recommend this to anyone who was wanting an easy book that is a bit of fun and simple enough of a plot line to not fully pay attention to at points.
I gave this book 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson
(490 pages)
I strangely enjoyed this book, and I do say strangely as it did fail to fully keep my attention. I didn't find myself desperate to keep reading at night, or reaching for it during the day; however I also didn't struggle to finish it or feel annoyed with the idea of continuing. Like with most books which incorporate multiple storylines or POVs, there was one obviously better one. For me this was the storyline set in the present. I found it easily the most interesting and engaging and as a result I did find myself rushing through the stories set in the past in order to return to it which did mean that the bits in the past were also a little confusing too. I would have happily read an entire novel just following the present though. So all in all, not bad at all and I would definitely still recommend to people who prefer reading more realistic novels.
I gave this book 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
(288 pages)
If I had one more person recommend this too my I might have gone mad, but you know what, they were right! This was such a good book! The concept was very clever and so so well written. It was emotional at points and also yet weirdly uplifting. I really really enjoyed it and felt that it achieved exactly what it set out too. I genuinely can't think of anything else to say other than just to strongly recommend it to everyone else too! I will say that a slight content warning should be highlighted here that the protagonist does suffer from depression and as the novel is told through her voice this is very realistically depicted.
I gave this book 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
