Domestic!Michael was a mess. You two weren’t ready for another child, you could barely handle the two, Parker and Danny, you had right now. He hadn’t yet asked you if you were pregnant but he was pretty sure you were, your flu being morning sickness and your craving for pickles being one of the things you only ate while being pregnant. It was currently 7 in the morning and all he wanted was to talk to you, but you were sleeping and he had to get the boys ready for school. Luckily, he didn’t have to do much because they knew their routine. After he dropped them off at school, he stopped at the drugstore to buy you a pregnancy test. Ever since having kids he no longer got embarrassed by things like this. He would even offer to buy you whatever you needed when it was your time of the month. And it totally didn’t have anything to do with the cashier calling him a gentleman when she noticed the stacks of chocolate and movies on the conveyer belt, no, it had nothing to do with that.  When he finally got home, you were still sleeping. Another sign, usually you would be awake long before Michael but you were sick, and maybe pregnant so he’d let it pass. He didn’t want to wake you up anyway since you weren’t feeling well so he decided on playing video games. A few hours passed until you came out of the hallway and joined him on the couch. “How’re you feeling babe?” he asked putting his game on pause. “Sick and sore, my back is killing me.” you no longer cared if you got him sick, you didn’t feel well so you were going to cuddle with your husband. Michael put his arm around you, pulling you down so you were basically laying on him on the couch. “So I gotta ask you something.” his voice trailed off. “Should I be afraid?” You joked smiling. “No, So I just noticed some things and was wondering..If you’re..you know… pregnant? again?” he asked. You hadn’t noticed, you thought you were just in the middle of a terrible cold, but this made sense, everything started to click together. “By the look on your face, I’m going to go ahead and say you may’ve not thought that. But I bought you a pregnancy test from the drug store so here.” He handed you the small box with two tests inside, you took them and headed towards the bathroom. What felt like hours later, but was probably about 4 minutes, you came back into the living room. Michael hadn’t moved, he was in the exact same position as when you left. “So..” he started, waiting for you to tell him what was going on. “So it looks like Danny won’t be the youngest anymore.” you said before he attacked you in a hug, pulling you into his lap as he leaned on the arm of the couch. He was excited, as much as he hated to admit it, he loved babies, loved them even more when he helped make them and they came from you. “I hope it’s a girl. I want a girl.” he stated simply as you laughed, “She’ll be our little princess.” you replied settling into his chest.
