arguably my favorite genre of d20 moment is when zac oyama Realizes Something. i collect those moments. my favorite example is when he finds the nuns in starstruck and his eyes go wide and he looks at brennan MURDEROUSLY it’s FANTASTIC

An intro comic for Bao and A letter to an estranged Father.

Bao though a proud Meatlander, was raised there and resided there since she was about 12 when she was able to be trained, does still have candy in her blood and caramel that coated her skin and replaced the finger she lost in youth. When her mother died before the beginning of the war, in her grief reached out to her father, a man she barely remembered to deliver the soft molasses man the news. One letter leads to another, and though the image of her father is not a great one and worsens with Candia's refusal to join the war she still seems to write to him, as he is the only thing she has left for kin.

despite the past discussions and letters, my stance still is unchanged. I am, after all, My mother's daughter. I will not, no cannot let the past die and if you and your false faith in the bulb won't bless me, then at least The Great Boar guide my blade

Bao Molas would often be described as stubborn, strong, brittle, and alone. Her mother, a meat-lander and the one who raised her and taught her under the way of The Great Boar, died a little more than a decade ago. Her father, whom she has not seen since she and her Mother left in Candia in her youth, is a coward in her eyes who hid his faith when the Bulbian church arrived in Candia though he still tries to maintain contact with her via letter. Anyone left from her more youthful days, slaughtered by ceresians; A constant reminder of what has been taken from her and what she plans to return to her enemies ten-fold among one of the many untied Meatlanders in this war.
