Nishinoya’s story Chapter One: Frozen Treat Friends
So this is a tryout for the official format of the stories on this blog. The OC remains, but the readers will take her skin, therefore I will write using the ‘you’ pronoun. The poll for the possible answers will be at the end of the chapter, on this very post. Enjoy!
A comfortable exhaustion rested on your shoulders as you pulled your school bag on them. The sun would have set down by the time you would reach your house, but you were used to it. Even though all of the members of the dance troupe were tired, it felt as if all of their voices were chirping happily. Your choreographies were taking form and you were steadily progressing as planned. Even you, who was usually withdrawn, was caught in the energy of the moment, a genuine smile present on your face.
The energy was spread even outside of the club room. The members took the way to their house, separating into little groups. By that time, everyone had grown comfortable around each other and nobody was left behind. Yoichi Harui and Hara Nariko, two first-years, were walking with you. Both of them were already taller than your petite self. You didn’t really mind, though. It was your trademark feature, after all. Those short walks home almost every night with your juniors had made you build a bond with the both of them, which you were proud of as you weren’t really known as “the social senpai”. The title was easily handed to your best friend instead.
Turning the corner of the building, you came to face the other sports teams that had also just left their club rooms. You could hear your two friends starting to whisper things to each other, but your attention was focused on the boys’ volleyball team.
“Noya-san! She’s right behind you…” Tanaka whispered in his ear.
The libero’s heart nearly skipped a beat as he heard that, mechanically turning his head around to see you and your fellow dance troupe members.
“Go say hi,” Ennoshita encouraged him.
“But… I’m all sweaty,” he tried to protest.
“She’s just as sweaty as you, moron! Come on, it won’t kill you,” the shaven-headed spiker pushed him in your direction.
He was projected right in front of you. Even though you had been talking every day in class for more than a week now, he was still nervous around you. To be honest, he was intimidated by the fact he thought you were adorable, even with that neutral expression of yours. He had learned that it didn’t mean you didn’t like him, just that you were uncomfortable. However, this time around, he had managed to make you gasp by appearing so suddenly.
“Nishinoya-san, don’t surprise me like that,” you said, letting out a small laughter after realising it was him.
“Sorry, Oumae-san! I didn’t want to surprise you! I just… wanted to…”
He could hear the rest of his team chuckle and snicker behind his back. He had to do something, or else he would totally lose his credibility.
“Oumae-san, do you want to walk home with me? We can stop to buy something to eat,” he let out in one breath. Since he had learned you lived only a few blocks away from his house, he had wanted the opportunity to walk home with you.
Surprised at the offer, but slightly pleased, you looked around. Hara and Yoichi raised a brow you, amused. The volleyball team was already preparing to humiliate their libero in case of a failure.
“O-of course, I’ll gladly accept,” you answered, your cheeks turning pink as you turned around to face your friends. “If you don’t mind, girls…”
“Who knew Oumae-senpai was popular with guys,” snickered Hara as she walked passed both of you. It was enough to make Aya look away, embarrassed.
“See you soon, Oumae-senpai!” Yoichi told you, a meaningful smirk on her face.
The rest of the volleyball team had also started focusing on something else when they realised Nishinoya had received a positive answer. For an instant, he and you starred at each other in silence, both trapped by your respective shyness. Yuu’s flustered expression was clearly visible as he didn’t know what to do.
“So… let’s go?” he asked, breaking the silence. You nodded and started walking away from the school grounds, waiting for him to follow you.
Being completely honest with yourself, you knew you had only accepted his offer because of all the pressure put around it… and because Asuka would have killed you for refusing if she ever heard of it, which was most likely. Besides, you would have felt bad for letting Nishinoya embarrass himself in front of his whole team. Still, your confidence about this improvised hang-out was pretty thin. You were sweaty and tired, and all you wanted to do was to go home. At least, Yuu never ceased to give you energy when you were by his side, even though you had know each other for so little time.
“So… how’s practice doing, Nishinoya-san?” you finally asked him, breaking the silence.
“Pretty good!” he replied. “We’re pretty pumped up for the inter-high… We also have a coach now!” His grin had slowly come back on his face as he was recovering from his moment of embarrassment. Talking about volleyball did well on him, even you had noticed. It had become your go-to subject if you didn’t know what to talk about anymore.
“This is great news!” You returned his smile, though nobody’s could ever wish to be as beaming as his.
“How about the dance troupe?”
“We’re doing great as well, but we’re so nervous about our first competition. It’s a friendly one between some of the schools in the prefecture, but I’m still pretty stressed out because I’m in the front lineup for both of our choreographies.”
“You shouldn’t worry about that! I only saw you once, but you have a lot of talent!” he complimented you. The words had spilled out of his mouth almost by themselves. His shoulders tensed up, nervous of your reaction.
“Thank you, Nishinoya-san.” An urge to change the subject took you. Compliments had never made you very comfortable, especially coming from acquaintances. You could feel your cheeks getting rosy already. “I should come and see you play volleyball, sometime…” you added, hoping it would effectively shift the attention back to him.
On your behalf, the short guy’s eyes lit up. He was honored of your interest.
“Yes! You should definitely come and see us, Oumae-san! Even if it’s just a practice match! There will be one soon!”
“Oh… I don’t want to be a bother…”
“You won’t be a bother at all! In fact, I’ll try to save twice as more balls since you’ll be there!” Even after so little time, you knew the determined look in his eyes meant that he was completely serious about what he had just said.
That was how you ended up in front of the Sakanoshita store. Your eyes met for a moment.
“Hey, Oumae-san! Let’s buy popsicles!”
“Uh… sure…” You were taken aback by his suggestion. Still, you followed him inside the store, where he skipped to the freezed-treats section. A big freezer contained many types of ice-cream and other frozen treats.
You watched him pick up a soda-flavored Gari Gari Kun Popsicle, to which you smiled. Leaning down close to him, you picked up the orange-flavored treat of the same brand.
“Gari Gari Kun are my favorite as well, but I like orange more,” you commented. He made a face like he had just found his soulmate, in awe.
“You, too? My favorite are the soda-flavored ones, though,” he answered. This minor detail was enough to make him feel closer to you.
It felt like the clouds had lifted from above your heads just because of this simple fact. Your feet felt light as you both paid your treat to a blonde lazy-looking store clerk and left the store.
The moments of silence during the walk didn’t feel as awkward as they were. Otherwise, conversations on teachers, your respective clubs and that class you both hated with passion animated your trip home. Soon, it was time to part ways.
“Good evening, Nishinoya-san,” you told him, looking in his direction, facing the sun in the process. The light was blinding as he appeared to be the one shining. Rays of the falling sun shone in his hair as his brown eyes sparkled. It was a blinding, yet magnificent sight. For a second, you were slightly intimidated by this outstanding sight of him, but you were soon reassured by his boyish grin.
“Good evening, Oumae-san.”
Just as you were about to turn around to start walking alone, he spoke:
“Oumae… I… I feel like we should be friends,” he blurted out, looking away.
Answers:
1.       Um… *blush*
2.       *smiles* Definitely, Nishinoya-kun!
3.       I feel like we should get to know ourselves a little better…
Place your vote in the ask box! Remember to always vote on non-anon and mention what fic you are voting for. Oumae Aya’s (you) answer will be the one with the most votes.

You have until next monday, 9:00 UTC!
Which city boy(s) will complete the trio/quad?
The introduction is finally over! Time to get serious.
Nishinoya and another winning character from a school based in the Miyagi prefecture (soon to be revealed) are already constituting the starting lineup for this blog. My question, if you want to answer it, is:
Which city boy(s) do you want on this blog? (I’m not giving up on my love triangle idea) I’ll be eagerly waiting for what you have to say!
Here’s part 4 of the introduction, just in case:

Introduction (part 4): Tokyo relatives.
Fourth and last part of the introduction. Another series of questions will be released after that. This time, the Ohara sisters will be met and it will be the time to choose which Haikyuu! character(s) from Tokyo you want to see on this blog. Hang on, the good stuff is coming!
Aya was doing homework in front of her computer, eagerly waiting for her cousin to see her message and call her on Skype. She had finished her club activities early that day, but she knew it was not the case for her cousin. As soon as the notification came up, the brunette answered. Ohara Saori’s face appeared on the screen, her trademark smirk always present. She was the older sister in a family of two girls and had always been the one to go to for advice. As she was completing her last year of high school, her younger sibling, Ohara Chisa, had just entered Nekoma.
“Aya-chan! Good to see you! How are you doing?”
“Hi Saori-san… I guess I’m doing well.” The younger girl answered.
“So… what are you in such a hurry to talk to me about?” teased her cousin, on the other end of her computer.
“Promise you won’t laugh at me… I know you’re better at these things than I am…”
“Yeah, yeah I promise… Now tell me! By the way… nice braids!”
Aya paused for a second. She was thankful her blush didn’t appear on screen. Saori’s brow was raised eagerly, waiting for an answer, her feline-like eyes staring at her.
“Thanks… Well, I’ve been talking to this guy for about a week now…”
“Does someone have a crush?”
“Yeah! No! Ummm… Kind of…” Aya’s face had become completely flushed. “Y-you’re jumping to conclusions!”
“I know! Okay… so who’s the lucky guy?”
“I’m not telling you his name! I don’t want you to stalk him on social media!”
“You know me too well… So anyway, what’s up?”
Aya took a deep breath, ready to spill out all that she had in her mind:
"So yeah... I appreciate him a lot and he's really nice and his energy is just fulfilling. He's on the boys' volleyball team of my school. He plays a special position, because his shirt is of a different color! I don't remember how it was called though... Anyway! There's this girl, Kiyoko Shimizu... she's the manager of his club, she's soooo pretty! And he keeps fantasizing over her… while around me he’s kind of awkward…”
"Okay, so is he going out with her?"
"No! Yeah well... she keeps ignoring him, but he's so head-over-heels he keeps pressing on. Besides, she's older than him..."
"Isn't that kind of dumb? Because he basically has no chance?" She had a perplexed, but slightly amused expression.
Aya laughed under her sleeve. "Yeah, it is kind of dumb..."
"Well, anyway, I haven't met him, but I'm pretty sure that he's conscious she's unreachable... you know, like the actors on TV you can't help but drool over even though you're conscious you'd be lucky to even see them in real life." She had relaxed back in her seat.
"Yeah, maybe... it makes sense actually." The brunette was unconsciously sulking.
"Don't make that face, Aya-chan! Because on her behalf, you're actually in his reach, which means that he could see you as a potential girlfriend once he comes to realise that. You just have to be patient... or make it so the realisation comes in sooner."
"That's not what I meant! I know he won't fall in love after just a week of talking. I was just not sure if I should keep my hopes up or not..."
Saori let out a hearty laugh.
"You're so pure, Aya! You shouldn't worry over some boy! Besides, even if it doesn't work out, you'll probably end up with a valuable friend. And about being awkward, maybe he’s just that way around girls? He’s probably as stressed out as you, because he clearly doesn’t have much experience. I don’t want to be rude, but…”
“Nishinoya-san? Nervous and awkward? There’s no way he’s like that, he’s a real ball of energy! Most likely is that he thinks I’M the one who’s awkward…”
“Did you just say Nishinoya? Oooohh! Gotcha! You said his name!”
Aya covered her mouth with her hands before starting to laugh. It wouldn’t have been long until she would have learned anyway…
The two cousins smiled at each other. Talking like that made both of them feel good. For a slight moment, the fact they lived in different cities didn't make a difference anymore.
"Thank you, Saori-san. These were the words I needed..."
“You know I’ll always be there for you, cousin,” her sly smirk had turned sincerely tender for a while.
“Thank you. Anyway, how are you and Chisa-chan doing?”
“Oh! Pretty well actually. My sister’s such a flirt! She became the manager for Nekoma’s boys’ volleyball team, can you imagine? She’ll keep hanging out with cute guys all day long!”
It had seemed like the little sister in question had overheard that piece of conversation. She opened the door loudly. “Onee-chan! I can hear you, you know! And that’s not why I joined the club! Who are you talking to anyway?!” she shouted, though she was blushing wildly. The other two burst out laughing.
“Oh, you know I’m teasing you! Come say hi to your cousin!” the older sibling giggled.
Chisa approached, and it was already visible the two were sisters. Their thick, dark hair was basically the same, except the younger one kept it shorter as the eldest’s locks came in waves down her back. They also had the same eyes, but while Chisa’s were light brown, Saori’s had a golden color to them. A childish smile came out of the newly arrived.
“Long time no see, Aya-san! How are you?”
“Fine Chisa-chan! Heard you found an interesting club to attend,” replied the middle cousin.
“Yeah! It’s really fun, and the guys are really nice to me! I feel like I’m part of a family,” she answered, excitedly.
“Aaaaand you’re going to introduce the captain to your older sister?” Saori’s cunning expression was piercing the screen.
“In your dreams! Anyway, how’s the dance troupe going, Aya-chan?” The young Chisa knew how to brush her sister off easily.
“Really fine, actually! I’m the front dancer for one of the choreographies!” the cousin answered.
The sisters congratulated her as she covered her smile with her hand.
“We’ll come see you once you reach the nationals!” cheered the younger sibling.
“That’s what we’re aiming for. And the goal is actually not that far-fetched. I think we can make it, this year,” Aya encouraged herself.
“Good to hear! And by the way, I heard the Nekoma and Karasuno were once rival schools when it came to volleyball, but that it’s not the case nowadays… That’s too bad! I would have wanted to come and visit you, cousin!” said Chisa, pouting slightly.
“That would have been a good opportunity for Aya-chan, because her crush is in the volleyball team of her school,” Saori had told that out loud, but it didn’t really bother her cousin. The trio could share
“Oh really? I’ll be on the lookout,” the youngest of the three winked.
A common giggle was heard. Sometimes, they wished they all lived closer to each other, so they could be together more often. Even if Oumae could tell her best friend Asuka a lot of things, she didn’t feel as she could open up as easily as with her cousins.
The conversation ended when Chisa started yawning. Reluctantly, the Skype video-call was put to a stop. Back to reality, Aya was on her own to deal with her feelings. Sometimes, she felt like her heart was a volleyball being tossed around between friends, school, club activities, family and much more. She just hoped it would always be received before crashing on the ground.

Valentine’s Day Special: Ukai Keishin x daring Fem! Reader
This may or may not be part of a “Rejected to the casting” series of one-shots or scenarios about characters I feel like writing about. I figured that, for Valentine’s Day, I’d offer you a little gift in the form of our favorite coach getting some sexy time. And yeah, the fem! reader is daring, because girls have to make the first move sometimes!
Oh… also, this is my first time writing smut in a while… so please be tolerant? Thanks? Love you all <3 and Happy Valentine’s Day from Lady M.
Warning: NSFW (under the cut)
The Pocky Game: Naughty Version
Never had he liked Pocky Sticks for the simple fact that he thought their trend was obnoxious. The game related to these long and thin pieces of dough with a chocolatey coating had ruined it all for him… However, on Valentine’s Day, all he could bring himself to do was to eat yet another box of this disgustingly tasty snack, reminding himself of how he was single, once again, on February 14th.
The Sakanoshita store was empty that night. All the couples were sharing this special day, while not even a single lover-free soul would dare to wander around without a precise reason, since it would only remind them of how alone they were in the first place… The fact not even one customer had come so far confirmed Ukai Keishin’s suspicion: the store would remain empty until closure. And there he was, alternating between a puff of cigarette and a Pocky Stick. The night would be long…
Just as the thought crossed his mind, the sound of the store’s door opening was heard. In came a regular customer that the clerk always liked to see. From the beginning, he had thought of you as very pretty, but never had he dared ask you if you were single. In fact, he was convinced that you weren’t. He had asked for your name though, as you visited the store every three or four days. Though a strange flirt game could be observed between the both of you, it had never been explicitly confirmed that you were interested in him or that you were even available in the first place.
Catching his weird look, you raised your eyebrow. He spoke first:
“(Y/N)-san… What are you doing here?” he looked surprised, but quite happy of your presence.
“Hi, Ukai-san… Yeah, unfortunately I was out of snacks…” you sighed.
“Aren’t you with your boyfriend on Valentine’s Day?” the question had escaped his lips without him really thinking about it, mostly because he was dying to ask.
“I don’t know where you got the idea that I had a boyfriend, but I guess I’ll just let it slip,” you answered, a small smile forming on the corner of your lips.
The blonde man couldn’t quite process what you had said at first. A part of him felt dumb for having waited so long to ask that simple question. He then realised that he hadn’t stopped starring in disbelief since you had entered. Redirecting his gaze elsewhere, he at least told himself that the smile you wore was a sign that he hadn’t offended you.
What he didn’t know was that this smile was sly. You had a plan in mind and the sexiest store clerk around to execute it. Tired of being alone on the day of love, you had put on your favorite outfit and had made your way to him. After almost a year of subtle flirting, it was time to kick it up a notch. You had come to realise he didn’t know how to take your clues, even if, for the last month or so, you had basically thrown them at his face. Did he even realise there were clues at all? The most you had gotten out of him was that he was single. At least, it was good news…
Stepping in one of the aisles, you observed him while pretending to hesitate on what you wanted to purchase. He was seated near the low counter where the cash register was located. That was when you spotted his box of Pocky Sticks and the idea came to your mind. As he was taking a small bite of one from the corner of his mouth, you approached him, feeling sexy and determined.
“Did you have a quest-?”
He was taken aback by your sudden movement. You had bent your back to be at mere inches from his face, capturing the end of his pocky stick between your teeth. The look in your eyes meant everything as you took a bite, resting your arms on the table, maintaining the small distance between both of your faces. Ukai could not hide his surprise, though he made no gesture to back away.
“I guess you could call that a question… though it’s more of a suggestion,” you started. There was a slow, mysterious tone in your voice.
Suddenly interested and finally solving the equation, he inched a little closer, placing his elbows on the table.
“And what would that be, (Y/N)-san?” Ukai asked, resting his chin in his palm and looking at you straight in the eyes. Even his tempting gaze was not enough to make you break at this point.
“You see… I thought a lonely store clerk would perhaps be nice enough to help a lonely girl accomplish her desires on this special day…” You ran your index finger on the counter as almost all of your torso was bent over it.
“What kind of desires might they be? You’ve got to ask clearly, lovely…” he replied, the smirk on his face getting wider.
You had never seen this side of him before. Not only had he finally realised what you wanted, he was going with it. You could tell he was getting more and more aroused. But so were you…
“Come on, big boy, you know what I’m talking about,” you mewled, nearly getting over the counter. It was the first time he backed away, his sly smirk turning into a teasing smile.
“No I don’t,” he said, obviously sarcastic. “How about you show me instead?”
It wasn’t long until you lips crashed onto his. You had grabbed his shirt in a swift movement and pulled him into your devilish mouth’s range. The heat rose on both of your faces as your tongues intertwined for the first time. You broke away to take a seat on the counter so it wouldn’t separate you anymore, making Ukai’s ashtray fall to the ground in the process. He had gotten up from his chair and had grabbed your legs to place them on each side of his waist. His strong grip only seemed to make your desire rise to an even greater level. You threw your arms around his neck as your lips met again for a passionate make-out session. You felt his hands leave your legs to roam all over your body, taking particular attention at your hips and breasts. His kisses soon trailed to your skin, making a small sigh escape your lips. Dizziness swirled inside your head, making you throw your head back.
“Tell me what you want,” he groaned against your neck.
“I… I want you… Ukai…” Your voice was higher-pitched as you were on the edge. You had already started breathing heavily.
“Then it’s a good thing we have the store all to ourselves. And please, I think we’re intimate enough for you to call me by my first name… Ain’t it right, (First/N)-chan?”
“Shut up already…” you dug your fingers his hair and pulled him in yet another heated kiss. His hands came to grip your buttocks to hold you up and press you on the nearby wall. Your legs wrapped around his waist as you were firmly held against the hard surface by the man you had wanted for more than enough time. The wall’s coldness sent a shiver down your spine, which would be your only link to the rest of the world for a while. There was an urge dying to be fulfilled at stake. The need of the other had welled up inside both of you. It wasn't only sex, it was a need for love, for affection, for physical fulfillment. You felt Ukai’s erection on your inner thigh, which caused you to smile in the kiss.
“What is it?” he grunted, pressing it harder against you.
“Looks like I’m not the only craving for some action…” you teased him.
Your teeth captured his bottom lip in a seductive way, which only seemed to turn him on more.
“Tsk. You’re the one who started… How about we continue someplace else?”
He loosened his grip on you to let you fall to your feet. Continuing your blazing make-out, he started directing your body to the door behind the counter. His hands hungrily fumbling your curves, he lead you to the back-store, in which you arrived abruptly. His hands trailed to the hem of your clothes to hastily strip them off of you, leaving you in your favorite dark lingerie.
“You look pretty nice in this,” he husked. His smirk became evident as he backed away to admire your almost-naked body.
“It’s not fair that you’re the only one who gets a good view,” you replied, looking down at his shirt and back to his eyes, your hands on your hips. You wanted him to remove it so bad. Catching your look, he decided to pull his shirt over his head and toss it to the side. His toned chest became visible to your eyes, that lit up in lust at this view. You slowly walked up to him, hands stopping at his chest to push him against the nearest wall, where you closed the distance between you and him to meet his mouth again. Your hands tormented his mind and body, making his head spin. A low grunt came out of his mouth.
“I can’t hold it anymore,” he growled, grabbing your hips and flipping you around so you were now the one pressed against the wall. Trapped between his body and the cold, hard surface, all your hands could do was find a way to his belt. His jeans out of the way, his massive erection was clearly visible through his boxers. His long fingers found their way to your panties, rubbing your entrance slowly through them.
“Stop teasing me, you know what I want…” you moaned, your hands resting at the waistband of his underwear.
“You’re going to have to say it, lovely,” was his answer as found his way under your panties and started massaging your clitoris in a way that sent heat waves through your body. You started breathing heavily, giving him a slightly annoyed look through your certainly pleased face.
“I-I want your c-cock inside of m-me…” you managed to verbalise between pants.
“What’s the magic word?”
Having you at his mercy made Ukai extremely horny. Your sounds of pleasure resonated through the backstore and it took all of his willpower to wait for your answer. His fingers rubbing at your wet entrance could detect that he was the only thing you were waiting for.
“P-please, Keishin… Fuck me!” you whined.
Your plea wasn’t heard twice as you felt your panties being pulled down in one swift movement. Getting his own underwear off, he once again firmly pressed you against the wall, placing his hardened member close to your slit. Anticipation made you shudder as you grabbed at his back and tried to lower your hips. A husky laugh escaped your lover’s lips.
“Look who’s excited… Stay still, (First/N)-chan,” he hushed you, though it was clear he was struggling to control himself just that while longer.
Lust was about to take control of your bodies as he inserted himself inside of you. Digging your nails in his back, you threw your head against the wall as your back arched under his firm grip. You positioned yourself to let him move freely as he maintained you off of the ground. He started moving inside of you as your desire rose. You needed more of him. The intensity of your moans increased at the same rate his pace did. Deep inside of you, his hips slammed against yours, mixing this slight pain with the whole lot of pleasure he was getting. All of his senses occupied, he surfed the same ecstasy wave as you in a moment filled with desire and passion. An animalistic impression was left in his mind as he thrust inside you. Yet, he felt alive and human, more than he had been for the first time in a while. Your head now buried in his neck, you started nibbling at it, leaving a few marks that would be visible in the next days.
“K-Keishin! You f-feel… s-sooo good!” Your words were almost a shout of pure bliss as he made you quiver with every thrust. You could feel your climax getting closer and closer, though you would have wanted this moment to last so much longer.
Suddenly, the man stopped his furious pace and let your feet touch the ground. As you were about to question him, he flipped you around so you were facing the wall, making a gasp of surprise come out of you. Your back was bent so your bottom was exposed to him, who was standing behind you. As he enjoyed the pleasing view, he could sense on your skin that your body was pleading his to continue. Breathless, he could only gladly oblige to your silent demand.
Keishin entered you once again, earning yet another sound of pleasure that seemed to stay engraved in his mind. He resumed his thrusts inside of you, getting rougher and rougher. His hand slowly crept to your clitoris, which he started rubbing once again, matching the movement of his hips. His other hand stayed at your sides, helping you harmonize his thrust, making them all-the-more pleasurable. Both of you were ignited under the other’s sensation, little droplets of sweat forming on your bodies. It may have been some raw, physical sex, but the loneliness in both of your hearts had faded, letting place to the joy of new sensations.
Soon, you reached your climax. Your loud moan, which could easily have been heard from outside, echoed through the whole store. Your vision became a little blurry as you dissolved in Ukai’s hands. He could feel your pulse around him as his pace broke, meaning his own orgasm was near. Time slowed for him in his last thrusts as fired pooled in his low abdomen. He finally released, going limp as the last bit of sexual tension left his body.
Both of you collapsed against the wall, your whole bodies numb and relaxed, panting heavily. You sat down while looking at each other, wordless.
“That was mind-blowing…” was all he could say, after a minute of catching his breath.
“Happy Valentine’s Day,” you replied, a playful smirk ghosting your lips.
He looked at that smile of yours before locking gazes with you once again. An irresistible magnetic force attracted his lips to yours in a final kiss.
A few minutes later, he was escorting you at the front of the store. Dressed back up like nothing had happened, you were getting ready to leave. The thought of a customer coming in had never even crossed Ukai’s mind, or even yours, though neither of you really cared in the end.
“The night’s still young… want to stay a little longer?” he suggested.
“Depends on what you have to offer…” you replied, though any reason would be a valid one.
“How about a bottle of sake? And maybe a second round after the closure?” he winked.
“Only if that includes your number after,” you answered, raising your eyebrow.
“I’d be crazy not to give it to you,” he said, reaching under the counter to get his bottle of alcohol.
“Wait… Were you planning on drinking that alone on the job?”
“What? Valentine Day’s a drag for everyone…” he laughed, making you giggle along.
And at that very moment, the thought that crossed both of your minds was that Valentine’s day could be given its chance if, sometimes, it lead the way to events like those.

The poll has arrived!
Alright! Time to vote for what story you want to see next!
First up, voting procedures:
For the sake of preventing my confusion, please mention you are voting when giving your answer. Also, friendly reminder that all votes must submitted in non-anon via the ask box or in private message. The question and answers are coded, so it is acceptable to only answer letters instead of the full sentences. Poll under the cut:
1-OC personalities:
Gotta admit this one took some thinking from me. As I figured, nobody has submitted anything for the OC personalities. I thought about it until today, and I figured I might want to adopt a style that’s more of a real “otome game” style of writing, where the main protagonist is kind of ‘personality neutral’. Let me explain! Even though the characters will keep the main traits that have already been depicted, none will be added and their ‘main/important’ reactions will be polled, just like otome games! However, they will keep their names, because I dislike the detached (Y/N) formula. So, is it a good idea?
a) Yes, I’d prefer that
b) No, give them personalities! I’d prefer it that way
2-Ships!
a) Furuhate Hikari (coach) x Ukai Keishin
b) Hayama Asuka (the best friend) having an *encounter* with Oikawa Toruu, but realising she’s just the flavor of the week (cue to playing American Hi-Fi). To be continued after that...
c) Yoichi Harui (first-year) x Kageyama vs. Tsukishima (little competition here, polls will be based on either of the two she chooses in each situation)
d) Matsuhide Junko (captain) x Asahi Azumane
e) Matsuhide Junko (captain) x Sugawara Koushi

Question Time!
It’s finally here! First round of questions! (tbh I’m probably the most excited out of everyone here). I wish to thank all of you early-bird followers for giving me a chance! Also, special shoutout to @ballisticscenarios for helping me out with a little promo and advice <3 Another big thanks to @imagine-that-haikyuu for the shoutout as well. You guys are the best!
Since there are not many followers yet, I want to give this question period some time. So, suggestions will be taken until Monday, February 6th 2017 at 10:00 P.M. UTC (Eastern time zone). Please feel free to reblog this as well if you wish.
This series of questions follow the parts 1 to 3 of the introduction. If you haven’t read them, you might want to. Here they are (in order of appearance):
http://hqchooseyourstory.tumblr.com/post/156324235413/introduction-part-1-the-scene
http://hqchooseyourstory.tumblr.com/post/156516228893/introduction-part-2-braids
http://hqchooseyourstory.tumblr.com/post/156653140663/introduction-part-3
Also, since the link in my description doesn’t seem to want to work, link to the rules:
http://hqchooseyourstory.tumblr.com/post/156296128413/concept-and-rules
Now that that’s said, on with the questions under the cut:
1-Four female characters have been introduced:
Matsuhide Junko, the prideful captain of the dance troupe
Hayama Asuka, pretty, bubbly and Aya’s best friend. Also part of the dance troupe.
Yoichi Harui, the determined, respectful, though socially hesitant first-year.
Furuhata Hikari, the mother/coach of the team.
a) Which character should have a story of her own? (No need to submit for this, the four of them will be featured on the poll anyway)
b) Do you have any headcannons on different personality traits OR not mentioned physical traits for them? Since I’ve already drawn a basic outline of how the characters are, try to respect this and not go completely out of bounds. For example, suggesting Hayama Asuka has black hair does not work, because it was clearly stated her hair was blonde.
c) Who would you ship them with? I’m also open to having a scenario where the winner has to choose between two love-interests (lowkey if you would suggest that I’d be so excited about trying this out, but just one love-interest is completely fine as well)
*For the purpose of making things realistic, we are limiting the choices for this ship questions to “Any character that is based in the Miyagi prefecture”. Also, as for Coach Furuhata Hikari, I will restrict submissions to: Ukai Keishin, Ittetsu Takeda, Tsukishima Akiteru, Tanaka Saeko (let’s not be insensitive to sexualities) as well as the volleyball neighborhood association members. This is because coach Furuhata is in their age-group and is definitely not going to get romantically involved with high school students. If I’ve overlooked some people in this age-group (20-30), you can also suggest them.
**Only one of the four girls (the most popular ship voted) will get a story of her own by the end of the poll (This feels like a reality show, how great!). For fans of the city boys (a.k.a. Tokyo prefecture), please be a little more patient as another option will be offered to you shortly! Like… in the next installment, maybe?
2) What is Karasuno’s dance troupe rival school? Any headcannons for that? (It could literally be any of them, and this may or may not lead to something in the future)
2.1)This one is more of a directed question, related to question 2: What is the relationship the two dance troupes have? Something more conflictual (think Karasuno vs Aoba Johsai) or a friendly rivalry (think Nekoma and Fukurodani/Karasuno) or anything you can come up with!
3) This is more of a question to get to know what all of you followers like best. This won’t be polled, it’s a side question for my personal mental database. So if you’d like to exchange with me on the subject, feel free to do so. So, what kind of romantic general scenarios are you into?
a) This weird thing people called “the hunter/hunted form of seduction”
b)A friendship that slowly mutates into love
c)Love/hate
d)Constant flirting around but neither of them wants to make the move/are totally blind to the situation.
e)Gimme the cheese!!!! (cheesy romantic)
f)I’m a sucker for all sorts of romance (basically all of the above)
g)Think of something else! (basically none of the above, if you don’t mind, please elaborate)

Introduction (part 3):
So this will be the last installment before the first questions come out. On today’s menu: Some thirsty-talk and some dance practice! (Yeah, my best friend calls it thirsty talk when girls talk about boys) Two new characters introduced: Coach Furuhata Hikari and first-year Yoichi Harui (soon to be featured in a poll near you). Enjoy! *excitement intensifies*
Also, please bear with this chapter, as it doesn’t really feature any Haikyuu! characters. This is mainly a chapter to introduce new ones. But I’m getting somewhere, don’t worry! We’re almost over with the introduction chapters.
Previous parts here (in order):

“I’m going to mess things up, for sure!” Aya whined. After class and on their way to the club room, the subject of Nishinoya had come up again. She was exasperated at the situation and felt like she had to talk to her friend about it. They started changing while continuing their little chatter.
“Oumae-chan… you’re so nervous! It actually went very well… and you got noticed by Nishinoya! You should be thanking me for inviting him to eat with us! Besides, he seemed really interested in you. And he’s a really nice guy… and cute, too!” Asuka went on as they started changing for dance practice.
“Do you really think what you just said?” was the reply that came out of the little brunette.
Sometimes she envied her best friend’s ease around people. Nothing could stop Hayama Asuka from attracting attention. Her long straight dirty-blonde hair, her sparkling green eyes, her curves, her tall figure, her adorable button nose… She even had better social skills than her, on top of being prettier. However, the last time they had argued about it, Asuka had denied everything.
At what her best friend had said, the tall girl turned around.
“You’ve got to be kidding me, right? Why don’t you try to be friends with Nishinoya, at least? He’s a bit like me, you know? He’s just… more excited…”
“And a guy!”
“That shouldn’t stop you… Do you not know how to act around him? Does it scare you to talk to him?” The blonde figured that the lack of answer meant she had hit spot-on. “Oumae-chan, of all the compliments I could give to you, one of them is that you’re way better at dancing than I am. You totally ignite the scene, you own it. And you know it!”
“Where are you going with this?”
“It’s coming! You should act like Nishinoya is a judge at a dance performance. Act with him as you do on scene!”
Aya gave a weird look to her friend before bursting out into laughter. She had no clue of what she was talking about.
“Well… thanks for the compliment I guess. But this idea is terrible…”
With a rest of giggle, she left the club room to make her way to their dance practice. Asuka, though dejected, brushed it off and called after her friend.
“Hey! Wait up! And Aya-chan… just… promise me you’ll try and make friends with him? At least…”
“Yeah… I’ll try” she answered, offering a small smile to her friend.
Aya was glad to have a friend like Asuka, to whom she could sometimes depend on to cheer her up. However, this time she had failed, but it was not her fault. She would just see how things would go and hope not to come off as anti-social to the happy-go-lucky Nishinoya.
“Alright! Time to whip yourselves up into shape for the upcoming competitions! Ten minutes of warmup!” shouted the coach as soon as all of the girls had arrived.
Furuhata Hikari, though kind and comprehensive, never ceased to amaze her students with how harsh her dance practices could turn out. How could she get a group of young and fresh girls all sweaty in so little time? However, the trust she inspired was undeniable. Though lean and not very tall, her presence inspired respect. She was like a second mother to every member after a month or two of her coaching. The difference in the first years’ general fitness could already be observed in so little time.
After the warmup came the stretches. It was the time where Furuhata would give them a summary of the practice and make any special announcements. The stretching routine was the first thing the girls had to perfectly memorize when joining the team. It also meant the last moment of calm until the end.
“The requirements for the upcoming contest have arrived. The first step is the preliminary round, where a pool of twenty selected schools in the prefecture will be chosen for the Miyagi prefectural finals. For that, a three minute choreography will be performed. That is, of course, the one we have been mainly practicing for a month now. Starting today, you first-years will start practicing the four minute choreography your senpais have performed in front of the school a few days ago. This performance will be added to the one of the preliminary rounds and will consist of the seven minutes in total performance for the Miyagi prefectural finals. Of course, there will be some adaptations for the sake of having more dancers on the troupe for the same choreography. We are starting this now because I have confidence you will have no problem at the selection for the prefectural finals. As you already know, not many schools in the prefecture hold dance troupes that fit in the “Modern Dances” category, and only a few are cut off at the preliminaries. Ever since my second year as a dance instructor, our school has always made it through the first step, although it doesn’t mean you don’t have to put effort into this…On a more positive note, our faculty advisor is currently working on making us attend different festivals and side competitions. Alright, enough for me talking, we’re starting the exercices.” Coach Furuhata’s speech was always straight to the point, even if she had a lot of things to say.
One of the most important aspects of group performances was coordination. All the dancers have to be in perfect sync with each other and with the tempo in order to achieve excellence. A long part of the practices were put into making simple or recurrent movements in front of a mirrored wall in order to achieve this state. The exercice was also repeated for the choreographies. However, with everyone getting more and more comfortable around each other, the coordination routine was taking less and less time.
“Great job girls! This one was particularly short. One last repetition of the routine and we’re getting into serious business,” Hikari encouraged them, her heartwarming smile always present. “Remember that communication and visual contacts are key!”
A small break was allowed for the transition to occur. The first element of the practice was the three minute choreography everyone had learned since the beginning of the year. After Furuhata was satisfied with the results, the dancers were allowed a longer break to drink water and get their a little rest before the second half of the class, dedicated to learning the new choreography. Up to this day, the first-years had done fitness exercises to get in shape as well as practicing the movements of the preliminary choreography separately. It was the first time that they would have a full practice with the rest of the group.
Out of the four first-years, a leading figure was already standing out. Yoichi Harui had declared her ambitious goals at the first practice: becoming a famous professional dancer and living her passion. Nothing would get in her way of doing this, which made some of her senpais laugh, but also admire her guts. However, that didn’t blind the young girl to the point of not respecting her higher-ups. Her highest regards were to Matsuhide, the team captain, and had shortly extended towards Aya after her performance at the pep-rally.
“Oumae-senpai…” she called for her as she was enjoying a talk with her fellow second-years.
“Yoichi-chan… Did you have a question?”
“Yes, well… actually… I first wanted to congratulate you for your performance at the pep rally, it really inspired me. And I didn’t really have the chance to tell you...” Her words made the older girl blush.
“Thank you, that is very nice of you…”
“I would appreciate if you would please take some private sessions with me once we learn the new choreography so I could improve my general form… please?”
Social interactions had always puzzled Harui, especially if it meant asking for a favor or service. However, the four younger girls in the group had all agreed that Oumae Aya was easy to approach due to her serene and non-judgmental nature. However, talking to the small girl when she was shy was nerve-racking, because her facial expressions would completely shut down. One of the many witnesses of this state was Nishinoya, just this morning.
“O-of course, I’d love to!” was all she could answer, even though she wondered why she was approached in particular.
“Break is over, girls! Time to get down to business: the Kill the DJ choreography,” coach Furuhata shouted, making all the girls get in place for the instructions. Hikari positioned them so more people now fit in the choreography. Aya was still in the center, which made her proud because it meant her last performance had been more than simply satisfying.
“Slight changes have been made to the choreography. We will slowly go over every movement for today’s practice. The older ones, consider this as revision and I expect you to help the others with getting the movements right. There will be a lot of ‘starting over’, so don’t worry about that. As always, if you have any questions, don’t refrain from asking.”
Even though the practices were long and harsh, a glimpse of unwavering determination could be seen in every girl’s eyes. There was no doubt about their desire to win. After all, they had pledged to each other that they would aim to be the winners.

Introduction (part 2): Braids
While part one of the introduction made us know a little more about our main character Oumae Aya and the captain of the dance troupe Matsuhide Junko, part two will be focusing on her best friend, Hayama Asuka (And our beloved Noya as well). Anyway, on with business, here’s part two of the introduction: Braids.
Part one right here:
http://hqchooseyourstory.tumblr.com/post/156324235413/introduction-part-1-the-scene
Aya had decided to braid her hair once more this day. Since all of the members of her club had told her how cute she looked like that, she guessed it wouldn’t hurt to do it again. Little did she know that it would make her be recognized in the school, two days after their pep-rally dance. When she let her hair down, nobody had seemed to notice she had just danced for the whole school. She didn’t know how braids made it any different, but apparently it did. As she was walking in the hallways, some first-year girls approached her and staggered some congratulations. The fact that Aya looked like first-year herself had seemed to give them the courage to speak to her.
“Thank you for your comments, girls. Be sure to check out our next performances… and maybe join the troupe on the next occasion?” she told them, trying her best to sound as sweet as possible. The two girls nodded eagerly and walked away.
She knew by the looks she was given in the hallways that she had just shattered the rumor that had been spreading since their performance. It said that she wasn’t from the school and that the coach had hired her. She had laughed really hard when her friends told her about it at yesterday’s practice. Did she go so unnoticed? Well, she was pretty small, no wonder she came under the others’ line of sight. Still being her usual self, which meant not really comfortable with a lot of attention, she picked up the pace and made it to class 2-3, trying to be as discreet as possible. Her seat was located near the door, contributing to her being withdrawn from the action. Next to her was a friend that she had met on the dance troupe, Hayama Asuka. Always smiling and very pretty (and possessing the feminine assets she didn’t have), she was doing a great job at attracting all the attention. Aya was in her shadow most of the time… and she was completely fine with that!
“Oumae-chan! You braided your hair again! You look so cute like this!” she cooed upon seeing her. Aya instantly blushed, muttering a thanks as she quickly took her seat, not wanting to focus on the eyes that had turned towards her at the sudden outburst of her best friend.
“Don’t do that! You deserve to be noticed at some point! People thought you weren’t even from here two days ago,” Asuka had lowered her voice, realising she had made her friend uncomfortable.
“But the rumor that was spread was so funny…” the braided girl half-whispered, half-whined.
“Oumae-chan! You braided your hair again! You look so cute like this!”
Upon hearing this sudden outburst, Nishinoya and his classmates turned around to notice the ever-so-bright Asuka along with an unknown braided individual. However, it was at the sight of the two braided twin-tails that he remembered the dance performance that he had seen a few days ago. He hadn’t forgotten the small figure and large dark eyes that had ignited the scene and captured his attention for a fleeting moment. It was her! And she was in his class! And he hadn’t noticed her? How could that be? He couldn’t help but stare for a while as she blushed a cute blush and sat down in a hasty manner.
“Isn’t she from the dance troupe as well?” asked the classmate seated next to him, pulling the small libero out of his daydream.
As he was about to answer, the teacher hushed the class to silence and started taking attendance. For once, Yuu paid attention while waiting for her full name to be called.
“Oumae Aya.” The name was called out and the petite girl stood up, a small response escaping her lips. She must have felt the small boy’s glare on her, because she turned her head around in his direction. He escaped her sight just in time.
Surprisingly, he did not sleep in class that morning. Maybe he was thinking about something, like how he would go up to her at lunch time.
The classes had went by in a breeze. It soon was lunch-time and chairs suddenly weren’t as aligned as they were. Bentos were spread on the tables and skirts were re-shortened as the teachers weren’t looking. Asuka and Aya were chatting leisurely as the minutes of the lunch hour passed. They were sitting in front of each other, only talking together as none of their other friends ended up in their class.
“Apparently today’s practice is going to be a little different! Coach Furuhata said we’d be changing the choreography a bit…”
“I hope we can all get it right for the upcoming competitions…”
A pair of hands smashed on the table, catching both girls off guard and making them scream a loud “Eek!” in unison.
“Oops… sorry! I didn’t mean to surprise you…”
“Nishinoya-san! What the hell?” shouted Asuka, frowning.
The guy scratched the back of his head. Maybe nervousness had made him a little too eager. The little brunette of his interest cleared her throat. Before she could speak, he went on.
“Oumae-san! I’m sorry I didn’t recognize you earlier. You were the front dancer at the pep rally, right?”
“Um… yes…” she answered, not sure where he was going with his question.
“Awesome! You are really talented, Oumae-san! I didn’t know you were like that… I mean, not that you don’t look like someone who…”
Seeing he was getting mixed up and feeling a little left out, Asuka intervened:
“Isn’t our little Aya-chan super cute? It’s a shame she didn’t get noticed much so far…”
“I’m sorry for not realising you were in my class earlier… Anyway, nice to meet you, I’m Nishinoya Yuu! And I look forward to talking more to you,” he introduced himself. Something about Aya’s neutral face made him nervous. What was she thinking?
“Nice to meet you, too,” she answered, giving him a small smile. Why exactly was he sorry? She didn’t quite know, but figured she could just let it slip. “Please don’t surprise us like that next time, I almost fell off my chair.” A small giggle escaped her lips.
“Uh… alright… I’ll… let you finish your lunch alone, I’m sorry for interrupting you!” He was about to dash off when Asuka called his name.
“Nishinoya-san! Sit with us next time! Aya-chan is a little shy at first, but don’t worry, she doesn’t bite!”
“Hey! I’m here, you know…” Oumae growled at her best friend.
The tall blonde’s words seemed to kick the libero back into confidence. He beamed a smile and gave them a thumbs up. “I’ll make sure to!” he replied.
The girls sat back and enjoyed a small silence. Aya cursed under her breath… Asuka hadn’t gotten over what she had told her in their first year of high school. They were in the same class and the small brunette had confessed that she thought Nishinoya was ‘the cutest boy of their year’, but that he seemed so popular that she would never dare talk to him. And there she was, grabbing the opportunity by the horns…
“Don’t make that face! You would have died to let that happen a year ago,” Asuka whispered to her.
“Just great…” was all that came out of her.

Introduction (part 1): The scene
Here we go! First installment of this blog and definitely not the last! This introduction will not only be the start of the first fanfiction (Nishinoya x Oumae Aya (OC)), but some important side-characters will also be met. Keep that in mind, and enjoy! ;)
“Alright girls! Make sure you’re all ready in fifteen minutes, we’ll be heading to the gym.”
The floors and walls of the club room were littered with makeup accessories and mirrors as the members of Karasuno’s dance troupe were getting prepared for the pep rally. They would offer a dance performance in the style of a J-pop girl group for the all the school, but mainly the sports teams. Their coach had said it was a tradition in the United States. At the right end of the room, a little withdrawn from the rest, Oumae Aya had prepared herself in silence, giving only a slight ear to the chatter filling the room. If her memory hadn’t tricked her, they were called cheerleaders… or something along those lines.
In lack of a current troupe costume, they had been asked to dress in a summer-casual manner. She had picked out a pair of jean shorts that fit well with her oversized baby blue shirt. She had tied her hair in two braids and wore a white beanie to add to the look.
“Oumae-senpai! You look great!” cheered one of the first years, appearing behind Aya’s back. Dressed in her uniform, she wasn’t participating in the choreography. In fact, only the second and third years participated in their first public performance of the year, wanting to give an example to the newcomers and letting them focus on competition performances. It also allowed for more elaborate movements for the time they had been given. Blushing pink, the second-year gave a small thanks to the girl that was already taller than her. Matsuhide Junko, the leader of the dance troupe, picked up on the conversation.
“She’s right, Aya-chan! You’ll look great as the front dancer!” she told her. Oumae’s shoulders had tensed to a point where it was clearly apparent. Her higher-up had wanted to introduce her to the spotlight and prepare her to take on the team for the next year. That is why she was chosen as the frontline dancer for the majority of the performance. Even though Aya was a withdrawn individual, her performance as a first-year had convinced the coach that she could definitely steal the spotlight with enough determination. If only it had not been at just the beginning of her second year…
Sooner than she would have wanted, the fifteen minutes were over and the group of febrile girls were heading to the gymnasium to wait on the sidelines and offer their performance to the whole school. The main dancer’s heart was pounding in her chest. What if she messed up? She would probably quit the team if that were to happen. She wouldn’t be able to bear with it…
At least she wasn’t Matsuhide Junko, who would have to give a speech beforehand… the vision of her possibly having to do that next year sent a shiver down her spine. She hated speaking in public. Dancing was fine though… if the reasons of her loud heartbeat were to be analyzed, they would discover half of her nervousness was to show off her skill to a school that had yet to notice her…
“Okay girls! We’re the last ones up, so I hope you can keep your nerves down until then, don’t forget to do your stretches” a third-year told them.
She wouldn’t calm down for the whole ceremony, unless a miracle occurred.
Nishinoya Yuu had to admit that he was a proud rooster being in front of the school, standing as a member of the boys’ volleyball team as Sawamura Daichi, the captain, did his speech. His smile was beaming with joy and pride. The fleeting moment had pumped him up for the upcoming tournament. However, he had to admit the ceremony was long and that he was getting restless near the end of it.
As the final club came up on stage, whispers and chatter could be heard, seeing most of the dance team wearing something else than their uniform. The captain, dressed in a floral dress, stepped in front to take the microphone that stood in the center.
“Hey! It’s the girl’s dance troupe!” whispered one of the small libero’s friend next to him. “They all look really badass, I wonder if they’ll put up a performance.” The proud voice of Matsuhide Junko broke the chatter and made everybody fall silent.
“Hello everyone!” she started, giving the crowd a smile. “My name is Matsuhide Junko, and I am the leader of the girls’ dance troupe of Karasuno High School. This year, not only do we pledge to well-represent our school at the different competitions we will be attending, we will also let you know that we are aiming to win them! However, in the meantime, the girls and I thought it would be a great idea and practice to encourage all of our fellow sports teams by offering all of you a little show with our second and third years. Have fun!” She winked at the audience. Everyone knew Junko’s pride was primarily based on her life as a dancer.
That was the cue for all of the first-years to leave the stage and let place for the nine dancers to get in position. “Alright! Come on girls!” shouted the captain as the sound system let place for some upbeat music. Femm’s “Kill the DJ” could be heard as the nine girls started moving in harmony.
It was like the students didn’t know how to react. The team were forming a V shape, Aya standing the closest for the edge of the stage. Nishinoya’s eyes were instantly attracted by the small female with the glowing black eyes at the front of the stage. At each of her movements, it was like she drew his attention even more. Had he seen her before? She was so small! Could she be a first year? No… Matsuhide had clearly stated that there were only second and third years.
Woahs and Ohs could be heard before some third-years started clapping and cheering. This immediately made the volleyball player get out of his daydream and start cheering as well. Some teachers were trying to contain too sudden outbursts from the sidelines. “Awesome!” he shouted. His eyes met with his volleyball friend Tanaka, who was obviously enjoying his time as well. Of course, since it was a school performance, everything remained completely clean of any explicit meaning, but something remained arousing to Nishinoya. Maybe it was just the fact that nine pretty girls were moving on a stage… for a public that contained him. Their coordination as a group was surprisingly impressive. Not one of them missed a beat, proof of rigorous training and preparation.
On the stage, for her part, Aya was ignited. She stopped over-thinking it as her movements grew more and more fluid. She even managed to wink at one of the multiple people starring at her before swirling around to another move in the choreography. For the final pose, she was at the center of the stage, arms crossed with a smug expression as the flock of her friends gathered around her to form final tableau that was representative of the rest of the performance: flawless. As soon as the last note could be heard, the nine dancers started cheering and gathered in a circle for their team chant.
“Karasuno… DANCE!!!! ” they shouted, reminding everyone of their own team moments. They quickly got down the stage and back into the crowd for the dismissal of the principal. Quickly making way to their club room after this, they hastily got changed and hurried in class for the rest of the day. In the hallways, their performance was talked about positively.
Nishinoya gathered with some of his teammates, some of them clearly still hyped by the performance. He asked them if anyone had a clue of who the pretty front dancer might be.
“I have no clue… is she a first-year?” asked Sugawara, scratching the back of his neck.
“I think I’ve seen her somewhere…” Ennoshita mused aloud, which pretty much every second year on the team agreed with. Their conversation was quickly put to an end by the bell.
Well, he’d still have Kiyoko Shimizu to fantasize about… He brushed the thought of the enigmatic dancer pretty quickly actually. Karasuno was a school full of cute girls, after all.

Concept and Rules!
General idea:
Welcome to Haikyuu-Sweethearts, a blog about your favorite volleyball teams! This blog is a fanfiction blog that follows the concept of a "choose your story". I will initiate the first chapters of a fanfiction and then it will be your turn to come in and send me your ideas in the form of headcannons, character ships, character ideas, etc. A poll will come up for you to vote on what you want to happen. I will then continue to write following the ideas that were chosen. The goal is to make you feel like you're in a large school environment. There will be a first fanfiction following one character in particular, but other characters will be introduced and you could choose THEIR stories. Also, don't feel like your favorite characters will be left out! Even though we're starting in Karasuno, I definitely plan on travelling! *wink, wink*
The concept of this blog in 6 easy steps:
1- A part of the fanfiction is released. Yay!
2- A series of questions come out, following the part that has been released.
3- A period of time is given to submit headcannons and ideas.
4- Interesting answers are published in the form of a poll. The voters submit their picks not anonymously (for the sake of not having one person submitting many many votes)
5- Oooooh, mysteries! Find out what YOU have chosen to be the answer in the next installments.
6- REPEAT!
Rules:
1- The ideas and headcannons (step 3) are to be sent in the ask box within the time that was allowed. Don’t worry, these can be suggested in anonymous. If, for any reason, the suggestion is not appropriate (view further rules), it will be answered and justified. Any suggestion given after the time limit will not be regarded.
2- As mentioned in the easy steps (4), votes shall be published in NON-ANON, for the reason mentioned earlier. Many questions might be asked though, so one voter can submit one answer for each question. Any anon vote will not be counted.
3-Nsfw will be included in the future, but they will be put under cut and will not contain major plot-points/twists. However, there is no telling where this will go in the future and suggestive themes will be mentionned even in sfw chapters. I know some people are not comfortable with highschool students doing the do, that is why I plan on keeping this to a point where reading the sexy scenes are not mandatory for keeping up with the story. Also, I plan on keeping things realistic. First-time stories will not be featuring two sex gods doing the “mexican penetration wheel” (please pretend this is a super complicated sex position) and hitting 382492 orgasms on the first time, you know?
4-Even though the purpose of this blog is for you to add in ideas and suggest things, please keep in mind that these are ONLY suggestions. Please, don't get mad at me if your favorite pick was not the most popular. Also, if some of the suggestions are not something I'm comfortable with, they will be disregarded, but I will always address the subject in a post. Limits I'm currently listing you are:
-Student x Teacher (in terms of a romantic relationship)
-Though I have no problem with including some homosexuality in some chapters, these will not lead to any nsfw chapters with the couple. (I don't feel I can write this well, thus making me uncomfortable about it) However, any fluffy time with two males will be accepted. (The plan is to maybe have one couple for the sake of pleasing the fans out there)
-In the same perspective, one character will not be romantically involved with more than one character at a time (unless it's some kind of cheating scenario). For example, the beginning of the story involves Nishinoya and a character of my creation (OC). In that case, AsaNoya will have no chance of being regarded, because it does not follow this rule.
*Bromance and girl crushes are accepted and do not count as "romantically involved".
5- Even if all the previous rules are still in order, the personal rule I set myself is to read and give its chance to any suggestion that fits them. Also, even though the votes will not be published, I swear I will always be honest regarding the results.
6-  This is not a request blog... It's not a matchup blog either. Don't get confused!
7-  Be original! This is your story as much as it is mine! Don't be afraid to try and ask. Even though I will post guideline questions, don't be afraid to hit me up with a little chat on things I could do to personally improve my writing or to improve the plot of the story in general. Please don't abuse of this, but you may also suggest questions for upcoming chapters at all times. Also, never hesitate to ask questions! I will answer them to the best of my capacity.
Also, even though I will read all your asks and count all of your votes, not all of them will be answered personally. Yes, it is for the sake of keeping a little to be desired ;) Anyway, thanks for reading all of this blah-blah! Have a lovely time on my blog <3
Oh! You can just call me Lady M. if you wish... or like anything that’s nice and has a cool vibe to it...
