I think it’s part some of them jumped ship to fast and got to into it for them to back down now and part parasocial relationship with Lou.

Like the cameo nonsense was just not a good situation all around. And it made a lot of them feel like they were legitimately friends with him. And he fed off that in order to make a quick buck (or 200 a video)

And now here we are with someone pretending to be an insider with a cousin feeding that fandom delusional take after delusional take and continuing to egg them on to not give up.

And Lou himself has been engaging with them on Twitter and cameo encouraging them to keep hope alive for Tommy and it’s been stated he was behind the initial wave of tommybubblesbuck hashtag on instagram.

But essentially it’s turned into a situation of they are so parasocial with him now that he says jump and they say yes sir.

This actually makes a lot of sense and I definitely 100% agree with the Lou - Bucktommy’s relationship. And yeah I agree with the first part about jumping ships. When I was younger I was a hardcore Dramione shipper and when I joined the online fandom for it and was told on how/why it was a problematic ship I still refused to acknowledge it and found all types of excuses for it. No shame in jumping ships or admitting you’re wrong honestly.

Do people actually like Tommy Kinard or are they joking bc the man had basically no screen time, no chemistry with Buck, no relevance other than as a plot device and before he was brought back in s7 he was literally only a racist misogynist who made both Hen and Chims first months at the 118 hell. The only reason he ever warmed up to Chim was because Chim saved his life and maybe this is just me but I don’t think it counts as “growing” or “becoming a better person” when the only reason you stop shitting on someone is because you owe them your life.

I hope Tommy never comes back. Even if Buddie never becomes canon. As long as Tommy isn’t on my screen, I’m good.

Chris Brown got away with the most minimal sentence after horrifically beating Rihanna. 

Roman Polanski raped a 13 year old girl but still won an oscar to a standing ovation. 

R Kelly raped several under-age girls but was acquitted on all charges. 

Woody Allen had an affair with his 17 year old daughter only to end up getting away with it and marrying her shortly after.

  John Lennon is one of the most worshipped artists to have ever drawn breath but has admitted to battering the shit out of women. 

And in that world it’s no surprise that Kesha’s freedom was denied. That her psychological and sexual safety were reduced to nothing. That she’s been forced to produce six more albums with her abuser. That she’s been forced to remain the creative property of the man who drugged and raped her. Because in this world our courts and culture still have a hard enough time believing women’s accusations of sexual assault even in the most clear-cut of circumstances. And when a woman as powerful and high status as Kesha can’t win, the rest of us stand even less of a chance.
