Made up Nights

When it all becomes dark and clocked,

All a heartless thee, man sights, gems with lores told.

Unseen spirits hold up auroras of silk and flicker them across,

He's given superiority above all feels broken to know how he's used it till now.

Uses the light his "excuse" is "purpose".

Some count and pile up "wealth", others "health" isn't his concern,

Some need "wealth" for their loved's heath but can't even provide for their "own".

They don't know what "some's" dealing with, all immersed in their own.

The innocent ones squished within,

Their young's have started to lose faith in humanity, it's true.

They see themselves rotting in these streets, no expectations.

After facing all the lies and knowing the hatred among mankind, they have no light in their eyes.

They question, If life's worth the pain, despite those empty lanes?

Their heart lit with flames.

Do they know that the youth is dying? Do they even care? Do they realize its their own?

He messes the day, questions the night;

He let's opportunities slip out and complains about his resources by the moon.

They don't notice when they decline their own, and become pawns to their devils.

How much foolish, unthankful monsters can humans be!

Now I am sorrowed by calling them beings.

What do library staff do all day?

Some libraries are open, others are closed, and even the open ones are only open for limited service. So, what kinds of things are we doing when you’re not seeing us through the plexiglass?

Sometimes we make book displays!

Sometimes they're the same kinds of displays we've been making for years ...

Some of them look the same, although now they're tucked away behind plexiglass ...

And then there are the displays that we've had to reimagine in our new grab-and-go space, like Book Bundle displays (part of our new Shelf Help service). If you can't browse the whole library yet, we can at least bring SOME of the browsing to you!

Another way we've reimagined book displays is by creating them virtually. Sometimes we just use book covers:
