i think what sinners had to say about the tenuous identities of white americans, specifically irish americans, was really interesting. like there’s a vacuousness in the cultural lives of white americans that i think we’re all aware of on a subconscious level, and there’s a constant chasing of tradition and community, but sinners also revealed the bitterness that white folks feel towards Black people and the strong sense of identity that they have forged in the face of so much horror. like the whole thing about white peoples loving the blues but not the people who make it is absolutely true but even truer when you look at how utterly devoid of cultural roots american whites often are besides regional pride. it’s jealousy as much as it is hatred. idk

I hate when I say things like "oh I want an ipod classic but with bluetooth so I can use wireless headphones" and some peanut comes in and replies with "so a smartphone with spotify?" No. I want a 160GB+ rectangular monstrosity where I can download every version of every song I want to it and it does nothing except play music and I don't need a data connection and don't have to pay a subscription to not have ads and don't have popups suggesting terrible AI playlists all over the menus.

Okay so I had this AU idea for a long time and I've only had time to draw a bit of it until now. It's basically a murder mystery AU. I have no name for it right now so I'm just going to call it ministry mystery 👍

Summary: While the ongoing practice of the Ghost project continues, Cardinal Copia stumbles upon a battered skull. Strange things start to happen, and the cardinal is being haunted by a shadowy ghoul. He now finds himself as an amateur detective, accompanied by his ghouls, to solve the mystery of the ghoul skull and its odd death.

Glamoured/Human versions of the ghouls under the cut. They're technically humanized versions of my ghoul designs, but they do have similar features to the actual musicians. Hiding it just in case some people don't want to see it

They remained glamoured for the first half because they were instructed not to reveal their true selves to the cardinal, but as the investigation goes on and more truths are uncovered, they slowly drop it.

I want to develop this more but for now, they're just going to be out of context sketches with vague hints of plot.
