*opens up camping chair and turns around to sit on it... just to turn right back - facing the chair again and whispers*

ANYWAY.

This year's festival week I tried something new. Something different. Me - an elder - finally. joined. Reddit.

I KNOW. shocking. I was told it's fun to observe the posts regarding and the festival, and let me tell you I WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED.

"I was sitting relaxed at my gazebo, sun on my face, cold beer in hand, when suddenly a bearded guy slowly shuffled past my table. He stopped, looked at me seriously, and asked, "Can I confess something to you?" I was a bit irritated, but friendly: "Yeah, sure, we're there for each other." What happened next was so absurd that I couldn't believe it until I read the complaint later. The guy told me he was involved in an argument between two men. The bearded guy wanted to defend his licorice lover. An argument ensued. And somehow—I don't know exactly how—it ended with a guy sitting on a tent with a camping chair. Yes, you heard right. The chair was on the tent. After that, the whole tent was completely covered in shit. No details. You know what I mean. And while I was trying to make sense of it all, the most absurd detail came: The bearded guy was drinking his beer from a toilet plunger. Not a cup. Not a glass. A plunger. Vacuuming. From the toilet. With beer. I was speechless. And now, as if that wasn't enough… then this happened:

(Another post) Which of you put a stool covered in shit at our table?? We were at the stages for a short time, about an hour. When we came back, there was suddenly a new chair. We'd never seen it before. And there was a huge patch of diarrhea on it. I saw someone suspicious running away. I think he had a beard, but I'm not sure. Anyway, he got hit by a tractor in his caravan… so whatever. In any case, I also shit on the chair 'out of principle' and then just put it next to someone's tent. Outrageous what people get away with here!

Yeah, festivals, hey. You come for the music and stay for the stories."

So.. APPAREANTLY there is a guy out there.....bold, huge, bearded ... who.... ran around the campside... most likely drunk... ..SHITTING on other people's camping chairs.... also he left his undies appareantly..

And there were several reports about seeing this dude, people complaining about their stuff being...shat on.... or pissed on.. and DON'T GET ME WRONG, this fucking sucks, but the whole reddit community went BONKERS for it.

Groups formed, people announced themselves to be the "Bartmann" (=beardman) Hunters, THEY HELD TWO FUCKING DEMOS AGAINST THIS MYTH OF A MAN.

There were two fucking POLICE UNITS accompanying the second demo against the unknown "Bartmann". There even was a COUNTER-demo against the discrimination of bearded people and their right to shit wherever they please.

"Chairs have emotions too!" and "Down with the Beardman!" became the most chanted sayings at the demo and during concerts.

This is so stupid, it is by far the best thing ever happening to me at a festival..

I walked up to an officer and asked if they are aware what this is about. She looked at me and sighed... "yes... there's a bastard running around, shitting on other people's stuff. And THIS is the outcome..."

Just in case, I lost some of you guys out there - THIS IS ALL A BIG ASS JOKE. People demostrated for FUN. Nothing serious involved. But ...this got so big, guys.. the official side of Nova Rock posted about it, all the media posted about it...

and GUESS WHAT....

I know this won't give you guys much, since mst of you don't know German, but basically, even the artists on stage where like.... "is it true? is he really outthere? DOES HE REALLY SHIT ON YOUR CHAIRS?"

.... I screamed so much when I heard about this... you don't understand this is EXACTLY my kind of utterly weird humor!!!

people, I'm not dead, I'm back y'all

well kinda... I've not fully recovered, but I am definitely feeling a lot better than the last *counts her fingers* ..what.... what day is it? ...and what...week again?

OH BOY, this is going to take a while...

Well, let's recap all that - I was gone 11th to 15th June, off to a festival ...and basically unalived from 14th to yesterday... AS IT SHOULD BE after coming home from a festival, right?!? It probably was a mix of exhaustion, heat stroke, extreme dryness and maybe something else.. and well I catched a bigass cold, nosebleeded like 14 times since last Saturday, some fever, no air, OH YOU KNOW, I ORDERED THE WHOLE PACKAGE... ( ◉◞౪◟◉)

Well, and today is honestly the first day, I feel like a decent human being again haha, so , yay to that! :D

Nova Rock Festival was as nice as always, we had everything, the weather was waaay too nice to us, except that it sorta backfired for people like me, that are highly affected by too much dust and sand and dryness, but WHO am I to complain we had no storms or cold or whatever.

I gotta admit the vibe was not as peak as last year, mostly because last years line-up is simply so damn hard to beat... yeah, but I liked it..

And it certainly didn't help that the day before the festival began, the biggest school shooting in Austria to date took place.....you felt that grieve, but... also people seemed to connect to eachother about it...

it would have been wrong to ignore it and also to let the fear take over. I don't know how to explain something like this.. bands and audience... It felt like everybody held onto eachother and that was really sweet.. I liked that they adressed it, I liked that thousands of people stood in silent and mourned. But also let their emotions run free afterwards celebrating music together..

I know others might not share my view on this...going to a festival while the rest of the country is grieving.. and that's ok too ig.

But one story made this festival really really amazing for me.

*slaps table* and I will tell you about it *woosh woosh* in the next post. (mostly, because this would be way too long, and I would like to seperate the silly stuff from... what I talked about up there)

I am so so looking forward to watching HTTYD again. Yes. I even take a real life remake. As long as I can listen to the music and see dragons, I am sold. And I will leave the cinema in tears, thank you.

I had several ideas for a Kaiju HTTYD AU already, only this time I felt like I wanted Kafka and No. 8 to be more of a duo? Instead of directly connected (or well..Kafka being the Dragon) Also the characters are younger as well here...

and of course i've added Hoshikaf.. like... is this even a surprise for anyone by now?

I'll be off to my beloved Nova Rock Festival until Sunday. Blast my ears with some music, drink and eat junk shit, and sleep in a tent, while rain and thunder will HOPEFULLY NOT reign upon me.. *nervously laughing while looking up to the skys*

I'm glad I finished this piece before I'm gone .... one of my main goals was to do a comic "quicker" than usual.....like... not getting lost in thought and stuff and detail..? Does that make sense?..

yes...yes... and I think I did good... Ignored several things, I would have dwelled on for hours otherwise like those arms...... Got lost in some post editing, gotta admit tho... I would have preffered other main colours but I will live that down...

Isekai Game: Kaiju No. 8

You are sent to the world of Kaiju No. 8. With you are two characters not from the franchise, they will help you during your journey here. You will come across the series various characters and villains as you try to find a way home. Here are the rules:

One character must be from the last show/movie you watched.

One character must be from the last game you've played. If you don't play videogames, you can choose book characters! Playthroughs can also count if you don't want to choose the book option.

The characters must be a protagonist, at least good/turned good, or neutral in that respective franchise. EX: Gregory (FNAFSB), Glamrock Freddy. Roy Mustang, Donquixote Rosinante 'Corazon' etc

They have all their necessary equipment and abilities up to the current point. If a chosen character has a character that also counts as part of their arsenal, then they can be unlocked by finding a place associated. Ex: Glamrock Freddy for Gregory, can be unlocked by finding a specific pizzary or mall.

What did you got?

I got my Nergigante 'Gigante' (Monster Hunter Stories 2) and Kirby(Kirby Right Back At Ya anime).

Despite having the Defense Force following my ass, I'm definitely doing super well. Anime Kirby is still pretty powerful and an Elder Dragon like Nergigante can make quick work of most kaiju. Though I may have to raid Kafka's Monster Sweeper job to keep them both fed.
