And finally, Top 11 Ways to Farm Gold
This might just be my magnum opus of articles. Easily the longest and most in-depth. I took a look at a wide variety of money-making methods in GW2 and selected the 11 (ask my editor, not me) best options for your reading enjoyment. This was based primarily on the gold-per-hour of each method, with some consideration for ease of completion and accessibility.
Howdy all!
I got commissioned by Gamers Decide to write another batch of articles about Guild Wars 2, and I'm legally obligated to advertise them to you, so here they are!

First up, an article I did analyzing and ranking each of the five expansions based on their story, open-world, and instanced content, and any other notable additions.

Top 10 Ranger Pets
You'll never, ever guess what this article is about.
I worked together with some very knowledgeable friends to rank the best pets for all you Ranger lovers out there! Once again, this was primarily based on their performance and usage in endgame builds.
Howdy all!

Janthir Wilds Spears Tier List
In this article, I ranked all 9 of the new spears added with Janthir Wilds. I focused primarily on how well they actually perform, particularly in instanced endgame content, though I also considered how easy their movesets are to learn and how fun they are to use.
Howdy all!

New Additions in Janthir Wilds
Next was an article where I went over a bunch of the new items added in the most recent expansion, Janthir Wilds. This primarily focused on new weapon and armor skins, though I touched on a few other things, including an analysis of the five new relics and which are actually good.
Howdy all!

More details on my silly oc :3
What are some other media/characters that inspired your main characters?
Mod Caide: This may be a bit surprising, but the original version of Jackie (from that cancelled project I mentioned in a previous answer) was actually partially inspired by Luffy One Piece. They do share some traits—they're both very bold and straightforward—but in almost all other aspects, they're almost complete opposites.
This was intentional; part of the original idea with that version of Jackie was for them to be the anti-Luffy. Luffy is a dumb stupid idiot who's guided by fate; Jackie is a methodical, intelligent person who actively defies fate. Luffy isn't bound by morality (he's rude and commits petty crimes like theft), and yet he almost never kills; Jackie has a very strong moral compass, yet they're more than willing to kill if they deem it necessary.
Mod Tag: While most of Sam was just finding an idea and running with it, there were a few characters that inspired his personality/appearance: Firstly, Samwise from the Lord of the Rings was an initial feel for how he interacts with others and some personality traits. I grew up reading and watching (and rewatching) a lot of Tolkien media as a kid, so this character definitely gave me an idea of how I wanted Sam to grow and develop in this story. Some other inspirations came later after the project started, with Will Byers (Stranger Things) and Viktor (Arcane). Typically, Sam fits into the caregiver/innovator archetypes, so these characters all also inspire his story and personality.
Mod Trilo: Honestly, it's been so long since I first wrote Helena that I can't say for sure! I have no doubt that she was inspired by the media I loved back then, though. I'm definitely able to look at her now and draw parallels to other characters (including ones that didn't exist back then)!
She's definitely in the same family as some of those loveable himbo types. She'd get along well with the likes of, say, Roman from Sanders Sides or Laios from Dungeon Meshi.
Roman probably was an actual inspiration for her at the time. Also, like all my characters, she's based on me as well. (Note from Caide: based)
Mod Kj: At the time I made Strade, Vander from the tv show Arcane was a big inspiration for his character, especially his softer side. When I was younger I definitely leaned into the edgy characters to be inspired by. Though since then I've learned to embrace that not every character has to be a homicidal maniac.
When he's comfortable, Strade is much sillier than how he was originally written. Kevin from Shameless is a good example of the kind of cluelessness and humor that Strade has.

How did you name the characters?
Mod Caide: The basic character of Jackie is one I came up with years ago, well before the current iteration of Mythos or their involvement in it, for a separate project that has since been abandoned. That version of Jackie was quite a bit different from the one we know today, including the fact that she was a woman and not a practitioner of Schrodinger's Gender. When I first attempted to write Mythos in novel form, I initially chose to have a single Human protagonist rather than pull in the other Humans from the original rp, and I decided to reuse the character of Jackie. Things developed a lot since that point, but "Jackie" works fine as a gender-neutral name, so I stuck with it as I explored Jackie's character and identity more deeply.
Mod Tag: Few know this, but Sam is a nickname for Sariel. Originally, I had the idea of a character named Sariel for a DND campaign that never happened, and then reused the name years later when Caide started this project. Sariel is a Judaic mythological figure whose story doesn't really have anything to do with Sam. I liked the more celestial feel for the character, as Sam is a healer and a helper in the story, so I kept that as his given name. However, Sariel is a bit of a mouthful, so I decided on Sam as a nickname. Mostly used as a reference to Samwise Gamgee from Lord of the Rings. They bear similar characterisitcs in my mind with their loyalty and caring nature, so the nickname just fit well.
Mod Trilo: Well, my favorite band of all time is My Chemical Romance. And I'm awful at naming characters. I pretty much just scrolled through my music library for ideas, saw the name Helena, and decided it was a nice enough name to use! Funny enough, I didn't actually like the song back then, but now it's grown on me. No doubt due to Helena the character's influence (although she has nothing to do with the song in terms of theme or anything!)
Mod Kj: Strade's name comes from a small indie horror game character. When I made him I took a lot of inspiration from the creator's art and other works.

Ser Narkais, the Vespid
Meet Ser Narkais, commander of the Akkhilian Raiders and one of the side characters you'll all eventually get to meet in the Mythos series. This wonderful art is a commission by a Fiverr artist named Vivek! You can find their profile here.
Now, I've no clue when I'll actually be able to make the main story of Mythos, and even then it'll be a long while before we get to the part where Narkais here first appears. That's just way too long to wait, isn't it?
Enough beating around the bush: I'm about to release the second short story in the Tales of Mythos series. This next one will feature Ser Narkais as the protagonist, as well as a cameo from one of the series' main characters. Look forward to another post when the story releases sometime in the coming week!

I've interpreted this as a difference in perspective of us mortals vs the Kryptis.
Sure, them calling her a child is probably a common insult the same way it would be in real life, but in her case she doesn't refute it. Compared to us, she probably is very old and refined and ancient; compared to some of the most ancient Krytpis, such as Eparch, she is a speck in the timeline of their lives.
Peitha being consistently referred to as a child really changes the context. At the beginning, at least, I thought she was like a beguiled old noble who finally saw a chance to seize power. Now, she's apparently more like a revolutionary child? She speaks so refined and clearly is well aware of war tactics and etc. but ultimately she's a child.
Peitha to me is like.. a young commander just starting out. But demonic.

In honor of Steamboat Willie entering public domain today, I immediately hopped on that shit. Was nice to take another shot at art, I'd like to try and consistently do more this year. We'll call it my new year's resolution.
He's up as a design on my Redbubble if anyone's interested.

Big Announcement — Short Stories, Blog Update, and more
Hello everyone! I've returned from my previous hiatus and have a few things to announce, so let's get right into those. Starting with...
Tales of Mythos
I have decided to start writing and self-publishing short stories taking place in the world of Mythos. These might feature past events form the lore and history of the world, backstories for major characters, stories focused on some of the side characters, etc.
I think these will be a great way to build out the world and stretch my creative muscles until I have the skills/funding/manpower/etc to produce the webcomic.
The short stories will all be part of a collective series known as Tales of Mythos. I'll self-publish each of the stories on Amazon's e-book store, so keep an eye out for future releases.
On that note, the first entry in the Tales of Mythos series is already out! Of Monsters and Men follows the story of a Human wizard and his encounter with a terrifying monster known as a Carrion. Go check it out now if you're interested!
Blog Updates
I've gone through and edited most of the old posts on the blog to give things a more professional tone in light of the new short story series.
For the same reason, I've also decided to be a bit stricter with what information to release publicly, as I'd prefer for the community to be able to naturally develop and learn about the world and lore as I release more stories.
I will try to maintain the somewhat professional tone here from now on, but don't worry, it'll still be the same old me behind the wheel.
Having the stories to work on should help me with my ever-present motivation issues and ensure you guys get more art and more posts in general here as I put more time and focus into Mythos stuff.
In Addition...
I have one more thing to report, but I can't actually talk about it yet. I didn't want to postpone this big announcement when everything else is already prepared, so expect to see another post somewhat soon about this.

Big Announcement Time!
That's right, everyone, your favorite occasionally-active artist/blogger is moving up in the world. I'm entering the big leagues. You guessed it: I'm selling my art for money! Woohoo!
I've set up a storefront over on Redbubble, which you can find here. It's currently quite small, with just a few chibi renditions of my characters, but I plan to expand it greatly. I'm hoping this will really help me keep up the motivation to actually do the whole art thing.
If you'd like to buy a thing but with my art on it, or you wanna help a struggling family in these trying times, please consider taking a look at my wares!

Good evening gamers, you should watch Oshi no Ko. Only one episode is out currently and it is 1 hour and 22 minutes long. I fucking dare you to guess what this anime's premise is. You won't even know for sure an hour into it. It is very good and it will be less good if I tell you literally anything substantial about it just go watch it
